What is the weight limit for this laundry rack?

The mounting brackets for the Wooden Drying Rack should be mounted in wall studs 16" on center which is the normal wall stud width. Each bar should hold three pounds individually if the weight is spread evenly across.

Hangers with wet clothes may be hung from this drying system, although hanging clothes directly on the rack dries them quicker and with fewer wrinkles

Does the mounting kit work for mounting to the back of a door?

Yes, our Wall-Mounted Wooden Drying Rack can be mounted to a door. However, the hardware included with this rack is for wood or drywall; for installing it on a hollow core door, different hardware will be required (link provided below).
