great simple designThe design is simple, so with a little creativity, you could store all sorts of things on this, not just wine. Personally I found that it was the perfect size for my shoes. All the other "shoe racks" were too big & inefficient for my tiny NYC apartment. Also, I love that it's made of metal (not plastic or processed wood). If you want to stack them, you may need to come up with a way to secure the connection.

Great AdditionI recently purchased these wine racks for my kitchen. Due to the space conditions and total number of bottles of wine I have, I had no choice but to store them wherever I could find space. Fortunately, after visiting the container store, I found something that I thought would fit the bill for storing these wines and freeing up space for other items. It seems to be working out nicely, so far. I like them.

Wine rack works great for TV componentsWe were looking all through The Container Store and elsewhere to find something to hold our tv components (Directv receiver, blu ray, etc). The sales person was able to lead us to the kitchen wares and showed us this wine rack. It works perfectly. It is just wide enough to hold the biggest component with enough space around to keep the air flowing and our components from overheating. It is attractive enough to sit out in the open. It works so well I ordered one online for my bedroom.

Wine Racks - Just what I neededI first bought one of these and then went back and bought another one. Just what I needed. Nice quality. Sturdy and well made.
Can they fit champagne or bigger bottles? Or water bottles with a 4" opening?

Any way to order just the stacking insert nubs?
I have 6 of the iron stacking wine racks, but I have lost all the stacking insert nubs. Is there any way to order them separately?

Call the container store, have no idea. I suppose a handy person could rig up something, that was my only complaint that the little insert things, are loose=, they don't snap in, would be easy to lose if you have to move the wine rack.

How much space is below the bottles? (How tall are the "feet"?)

there really are no feet, just little rubber things but we did not use them. So the bottom 'leg's of the wine rack are flush with floor of the closets.

Can these wine racks accommodate 1.5 L bottles?
The distance between each shelf in these wine racks looks pretty spacious. Can these racks hold both standard bottles (750 mL) and magnum bottles (1.5 L)? Thanks for your help!

As wine bottles vary in size, we do not have a definitive answer. The spacing between the levels is 4-3/4'' of an inch. If the wine bottle fits within that spacing, then this solution will suit your needs. A 1.5 L can be placed on the upper level as well.
