I was really at a loss in my new kitchen for weeks because there was no cabinet that would work for spices, and I couldn't fit a hanging rack on any sides of a cabinet like I had planned. I thought of hanging little baskets on the inside of the teeny "pantry" cabinet, but each would have only held two bottles and would have had other issues too. After searching this and other sites for spice racks several times, I happened to be browsing in the store and was amazed to see this one! It was brand new and hadn't even been online yet when I had recently searched. I hadn't really thought of or seen a standing rack, and it was PERFECT. Sturdy, both rustic and classic, and a great size. Store-botttle-wise, I have Fairway bottles on the bottom, Whole Foods bottles in the middle, and the square Simply Organic bottles on top, with a couple of other brands or no-frills on each, though they would all fit on any of the shelves (and if you have any taller bottles, of course just put those on top). I'm SO happy I found this, when not only did I not have any good options otherwise, but this was so perfect - I love how it looks, and it's so convenient.

A very pleasing yet simple design lets this classy little spice rack blend in to any kitchen. The lower racks allow you to stack two of the small spice containers. Can be hung on a wall if you like.

Sturdy spice shelf with a nice finish. I finally have my spices in alphabetical order. Bought two. Very happy with this purchase. Priced out several different styles and manufacturers and this rack is a good buy.

This is a sleek, minimalist spice rack that fit all of our collection of spices perfectly. We don't have cabinet or drawer space available for our spices and this looks great out on the counter while doing exactly what we need.

I bought this to organize my perfumes and it is perfect. it doesn't accommodate a super wide bottle, but still, it looks perfect. Modern, trendy, opens up my room, very sturdy. Highly recommend!

Bought this to hold various spice bottles in the kitchen and not absolutely sure I'd recommend them (but don't have the option to say maybe). Really like this collection, but this particular item has several issues. Needs to have more space between the shelves to hold more standard size spice bottles (those purchased directly from a grocery store). Also did not come with screws and had difficulty finding a fastener to install them. Ended up using large square mirror clips which fit around the railing to hold them to the wall. Look good in the kitchen and hold certain sizes of my regular spice bottles.

So very nice to hold Penzey or these (see photo) square jars. Will hold more square jars per row than round Penzey. Got these square jars on ebay. The perfect spice rack.

I bought this to be used as perfume rack. I'm glad I bought it in store. The welds caused some to be shakey and not lay quite flat. I found three out of seven acceptable.
It is expensive in my opinion, but it's exactly what I wanted. Sturdy, modern, clean lines and great dimensions. I will need to buy another because it just right for what I need. I like that I may be able to wall mount, when I'm no longer renting.

I've been searching for an inexpensive spice rack that was simple, sleek and would accommodate my Penzeys' jars. This does the job beautifully! I love, love, love it! Solid construction, hugs the wall and doesn't take up valuable counter space.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jmb260 Just what I needed
I had purchased a rotating spice rack from another store that was lovely, but took up a lot of counter space. The CS rectangular spice rack is great for my counter. It sits snug to the wall & doesn't really take up a lot of room. Even buying the spice jars to fit the rack was less than half what I paid for the other rack!

Purchased for a client. Ready to install only to find out it didn't come with any hardware. The holes are so tiny, you would have to use tiny nails cause screw heads are too thick to fit in the pre drilled holes in the back. After having to make a trip to the store to purchase double sided indoor/outdoor tape along with picture frame hooks, I was ready to install. It's so heavy (made of iron), I had to use something that would hold it up.

Holds most sizes of spice and herb containers, sits discreetly on countertop, looks good with my white cabinets, dark gray walls, and stainless appliances. Exactly what I needed for my tiny new kitchen that doesn't have nearly enough cupboard space.

by amandajclark Great option for spices in a small space!
This spice rack was perfect for our tiny kitchen (even though we have lots of spices!) It fits nicely against our backsplash on the counter, and displays the spices in gorgeous clear bottles. I would recommend the chrome bottle lids, because they feel sturdy and look super cute. I am working on labeling the bottles, but all in all, I love this spice rack! Staying organized and making it look pretty in the process - what could be better?

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Dawn16 Great spice organizer
Fits snug against the wall taking up very little space. And its great to just throw your spices on without having to transfer to clear bottles. Yes, you can only use the top shelf for larger bottles but the bottom two fit medium and small bottles so you get enough of a variety that you can keep most of the commonly used spices out and handy. This is just what I needed.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Stuckonsushi simple but great look and design
As other reviewers have said this is a good rack where I don't have to bother pouring all my spices into generic containers, and most store bought containers easily fit. The open top rack is where I keep the ones that are slightly too tall for the others. The rack itself looks streamlined with a simple yet attractive color/design to it, it's just heavier than it looks. Even the cashier commented on this, but since I don't carry my spice rack around with me that's not really a problem, just a note. This rack will probably last me the rest of my life!

We like the spice rack and kept it. It's a perfect fit for our small NY kitchen. However, one of the solders had broken during shipping, and the ribs were slightly bowed. I needed to unpack, so I pushed the bows back in place and applied a little "Goop" to the broken solder point and.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by MeasuringTape Very happy with my new spice rack!
I purchased this so I could *stop* having to pour purchased spices into other bottles, just to have them all match, and fit them in a custom rack. This rack successfully holds spice bottles of several brands (whose jars aren't quite the same size as each other), including Penzey's, Simply Organic, Frontier, McCormick (standard jars; the oversized jars are a little too wide to sit in the channels, and too tall for the bottom and middle shelves, but they fit on the top shelf), Spice Hunter, and more. I wish this spice rack came in other widths, I'd gladly buy a narrower one to stash on the other side of the stove, too!

Rated 1 out of 5Â by neaterinmyhead Will not fit many sized spices
I was so excited to FINALLY find a product that would hold the vast assortment of spices that I have in all different sized and shaped bottles. THIS IS NOT THAT PRODUCT!!!
It holds the same standard sizes that any other spice organizer holds. I have no intention of pouring my spices out of the packages they come in, into another container just so it will fit the rack. Why can't manufacturers make a rack that fits reality?

 by Boston1234 Great Spice Racks
I purchased these spice racks to free up space in my cabinets. I like that they fit standard spice jars. My only criticism is that they didn't come with their own hardware and the holes in the back are much too small to fit over the head of a screw.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by MoPA Perfect size for most used spices
This rack was exactly what I had been hunting for - it was slim enough to fit along a wall that a door opens up to, but still big enough to hold the 12-14 most commonly used spices in our house.
The design is sleek and no-nonsense so should match any modern decor.
Very sturdy tubular steel, easy to hang with two screws (can use mollys as needed).

by Pheebers Really good but not quite perfect
There's a lot to like about this rack. It's solid and looks more expensive than it is. It's not deep, so it's easy to get what you want and doesn't take up much space on the counter. I have a perfectly flat granite countertop and it doesn't tip at all.
While the depth is great, the height and length are slightly off. In particular, the middle and bottom shelves are too short to comfortably hold taller spices, and it's not quite wide enough to house my wider jars efficiently.
I've attached a photo showing different brands of spices and holders for comparison purposes. Whole Foods spices only fit on top, McCormick Fancy Collection (with the black caps) fits on top and middle only, and standard McCormick & Trader Joe's fit on all three.
All in all, it's still the best spice rack I've found over the years. If there were an extra 1/2 inch height on the shelves and it was about 6 inches wider, it would be absolutely perfect.

Before I purchased this product, I had a tiered spice shelf inside my cabinet. I purchased two iron spice racks and put them on my countertop, freeing up a lot of cabinet space. The spices are much easier to access, too. Before, I was always knocking over spice bottles when trying to get to ones in the back.
