A spice cabinet game changerThese are the perfect size and fit great inside custom built spice drawers. I love how you can customize them with your own labels (I used a white paint pen). Love how uniform my spice drawer looks with these bottles. The price is great too!

Not airtight. Spices oxidize quickly.I have 72 of these jars for 3 different spice racks. Every one of them leaks. When you open the cabinet that stores the Indian spices it is very apparent as an ever diminishing waft of spice fills the air. My European aromatics diminish in pungency very quickly. This is caused because the tops are not airtight and many do not even snap shut. A screw on cap would be better
I spend a small fortune on spices in my travels and from The Spice House in Evanston Illinois. It has been a costly mistake to trust these lids.

Doesn't close all the wayThe caps on these are a very bright white plastic. however, one side is for a spoon and one side is a shaker. The cap screws on fine, but the flip tops for the two sides don't close all of the way. Will be returning this product.

Love it!This size spice jar was impossible to find. I buy many spices in bulk and this size holds a good amount. It costs more than the smaller spice jars, but it is worth the price. The only downside is a measuring Tablespoon is too wide and will not fit through the opening. Also make sure the lids close correctly -- some of them would not stay closed and would pop up. I bought some Avery labels at the office supply store and printed them on my computer to label the spice jars. My spice drawer is the envy of all who see it!

I live where there is an abundance of bulk food stores, so most of my spices come in different size flat plastic containers. I really wanted to get them organized and into uniform containers without spending a fortune. I bought several of these and several of the 3 oz size. I had some Avery removable (Post-It type) labels so made my own labels for the bottles which I can easily remove and change as my spice collection changes.
The lids seem fairly flimsy so I wonder how they'll hold up over time after they get opened and closed several times. They feel less sturdy than the tops on the spices you'd get from the grocery store. But for the price, I wouldn't mind having to buy replacements over time.
They're big enough to hold the spices I use a lot of and they're big enough to fit my tablespoon measuring spoon in. Overall, I've quite satisfied with these containers.

Works perfectlyI bought these for some spice holders I have on the door in my cupboard. I noticed the lids didn't all click shut in the store. I checked each one in the store before purchase and they are great. Perfect size and just what I needed for spices I use alot.

Great size. the 3 oz is too smallGreat size. the 3 oz is too small. All spices are now well organized. Taged the lid with names. Will buy 10 more. Only one lid out of 10 does not close well.
