I like the idea, but the compartments are shallow. So you have to be selective of what you can put in there. It doesn't fit a normal yogurt well. Also, its difficult to clean. Its not just something you can open all the compartments and send it through the dishwasher. Because of the way it opens it makes it difficult. I am happy I only bought one so I am not stuck with a lot of these things.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Erin1284 Too curvy and flimsy
We bought these lunchboxes for my husband and I to use for work. We've had them for about 2 months and I've already thrown 4 away.
1. They have a great assortment of compartments.
2. They hold A LOT of food - a full salad in the bottom, a container of yogurt in the top, plus two sides in the top.
3. They come in a variety of colors.
1. They aren't flat on top, so it's VERY difficult to stack them in the fridge without them sliding off one another. I've had many end up on the floor.
2. The tabs that hold the lids in are flimsy and I broke one the first time I washed it. The rest ended up breaking within 2 months.
3. They are difficult to clean. There are little holes in the bottom of the top section that get gunk stuck in them.

I love it. I filled the drink container with water & put in the freezer overnight. In the morning I put my lunch in the large compartment and the drink container in its place. When I ate my lunch 6 hrs later, my lunch was cold & I had cold water to drink. That's fabulous!

Rated 2 out of 5Â by staylor Eh, not that great
I bought these for my daughters to use for school. The bottom compartment is very shallow when the lid closes, it does not allow for a yogurt or apple sized item in it. The top compartment is divided into three sections. The little sections are so small they take nothing but blueberries or raisins. It is not leak-proof and is a pain to clean.
Cute though, I wanted to love it! The girls like it when a lunch actually can fit in there properly!

I had been using a grocery bag to carry a sandwich, berries and carrots in the same baggie, and a bottled water but by lunch the berries were obliterated and the carrots looked unrecognizable. I bought this and now I have a separate compartment for all! No more jam with my carrots...I'm loving it!!!

I registered for the container store just to review this product. Mostly because I saw a lot of reviews having trouble cleaning it. When you put this in the dishwasher the flip up lids on top are removable, and the top compartments detach from the bottom one so that everything can go in the dishwasher separately. Take one lid at a time and open it all the way & just lift up. It pops right out. detaching the bottom compartments from the top is a little more tricky but a little twist & pull & it comes apart. And goes back together just as easily.

This is a perfect sized lunch box. It even comes with a bottle for salad dressing or any liquids and it does not leek! The only thing I would add is a handle. The reason I bought this was to only bring this, not to bag it too. Oh well, still a great product!

I happen to be a very busy student, and sometimes I have to carry multiple snacks and meals. This container makes it easy to do just that. I can pack a couple of sandwiches and plenty of fruits and veggies to snack on.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Kimmers1 Overall this is a great product for being able to bring lunch and additional items in one container. The only issue that I really have is the fact that iti s difficult to put the item in the dishwasher and get everything clean.

I have 3 kids. I make alot of lunches. "Dishwasher safe" are words I love by. While this can go in the dishwasher, there really is no good way to put it in there so it gets completely cleaned. My kids think it is cool and fight over who gets to use it next. I only bought one to test it out.

These lunch boxes are perfect and just what I was looking for--easy for the kids to use, nice sized and the large compartment on the bottom is a nice catch all for things that don't fit in the top :)

Rated 5 out of 5Â by LCMC so much better than plastic bags!
I'm trying to limit my family's footprint and wanted an alternative to plastic bags for my kids' lunches. This is perfect! The bottom compartment is plenty large enough for a sandwich and then some and the top compartments are perfect portion sizes. It also comes with a drink bottle. Seems to be pretty sturdy with the possible exception of the hinges as they are only little plastic tabs.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Verified Reviewer Good but not great
I loved the idea of this container but it didn't turn out quite what I was hoping for. For one, the container is not leak proof so do not put any liquids in the compartments and expect them to stay there. Also, the bigger compartment on the bottom is great for sandwiches but isn't deep enough to hold a juice box and close. I still think its handy to have-- I can pack my lunch the night before and grab the whole container in the morning to put into my backpack... I just wish it was leak proof

My Son loves all the little compartments in the "lunchbox", it's like a litte treat to open each one and see what's for lunch that day.
The only dislike I have is that it's hard to put any frozen packs in because the top compartment closes into the bottom so there's not much room to add the ice packs. I usually partially freeze his drink for the day and that helps some but it's in the top of the lunchbox, not in the bottom where I need it. I have to find a much smaller ice pack to use it more so that I can keep his lunch cold.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by crissys24 Great "green" item for kids
I understand how the person below said it's hard to wash, we have been using this for over year now and honestly, it took me a while to get used to washing it. BUT I have to say, after you get used to it, it's very simple. It saves a lot of room in my dishwasher by not having multiple containers.
My both kids have one, we use daily. I wash it at night, let it air dry and the morning, pack lunch. They get fresh fruit or veg in one compartment, a snack like pretzels or trail mix in another, then in the big one they get a sandwich or some other flat item like pupusa or taquitos, maybe with cheese stick or yogurt tube. It fits enough food for lunch if you include a morning snack separately (my kids are 11 and 6). It fits in their backpacks but I am curious to see if it'll still fit when my son goes to Middle School next year (my guess is no).
The drink bottle that comes with it IS a pain to clean, I suggest you clean it right away or put in dishwasher or be less green and use a juicebox (they fit in the juice compartment).

Rated 3 out of 5Â by SLHfromME Not as good as I'd hoped it would be
I wish that this would come apart into pieces so that I could put it in the dishwasher. It's difficult to handwash, even, because the lids all hinge in different directions & don't stay open while I'm washing it. My kindergartener is so excited to use this because he thinks it's clever but I'm thinking about hiding it from him so that he forgets about it :(

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Asztrid99 Great product for meals on the go!
I absolutely love this product. I've committed to be more "green" in our purchases and this system fits the bill for what I was after. No more baggies. No more fruit moistened sandwiches. Everything has it's little compartment with separate lids and it all closes up together, so it's easy to carry. Kids take them to school, I take them to work, and we use them for family outtings as well. Excellent quality with an equally excellent idea!

I do like the size of the Quaddie, also I like that it has different compartments. My only complaint is that it is difficult to keep all the lids open at once to place it in the dishwasher. Not sure what the little bottle is for, too large for salad dressing, too small for a drink, haven't figured out a use for it yet.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by 3boyzundr4 Good concept
I love the separate compartments, dual tiers, and colors. Unfortunately the lids' tabs break off easily and the compartments even with the lids closed are not leak proof. The size of the compartments are perfect for my boys' lunches - the large one on top fits sandwiches perfectly. I didn't use the bottles and was able to put cold blocks in the bottom along with a drink. They fit perfectly in the carrying case sold separately. I just wish I could by more lids so I can continue to use it.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by MaxwellsMom Not Practical
I love the idea of this lunch box but it ended up not being very practical. Anything that has a little liquid (pickles) leaks everywhere. Also, it is quite bulky and I think just makes what you pack larger and heavier.

I purchased 3 of these for my girls, unfortuntely 2 of them broke before they even used them. They are fragile, and difficult to wash. The cube lunchbox is much easier and sturdy ( and cheaper too.)

I bought to use for a toddler lunch and it's really too big for that. Definitely an adult size container, but nicely put together and would keep food separated well.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by faithfulmom Decent product
This box is more appropriate for adults. I bought this for my preschoolers, but it is too big. There is not much slim about this box. Like one of the other comments, my child dropped this after I removed it from the shopping bag, and one of the flaps cracked. The product does not seem flimsy, so I guess it landed just right to break.

I bought this for me but ended up using it for my 5 year old son's lunch. Great to keep lunch from being crushed in the lunch bin, and so easy to keep clean. He loves the little compartments and I love not using 4 ziplocs everyday.
