OK for the right itemsI know this was intended for sponges. I'm using it to hold toothpaste and floss by adhering to my BR mirror - shape is not ideal for this purpose but it works well. Suction cups are OK but not as good as the power hook products...

It doesn't stayUnfortunately, due to the type of sink I have, it does not suction well and I cannot use it in the sink. Instead, I just put it under the sink to hold my sponge. Luckily it does stand up on it's own so I was able to use it.

Good buyBought this to store my sponges on the kitchen sink and keep the countertop clear and clutter free. So far so good. I like the vents and the suction cups seem pretty strong. No more stinky wet sponges!

Could be betterThis is a great idea for keeping wet sponges. The problem is it does not like to stay stuck to the side of the sink. If it was to hang over the center of the sink it would probably work better.

Sponge holderIt's hard to believe such a simple item can make such an impact in our kitchen. The suction cups hold and the sponges can dry - keeping those stinky sponges a thing of the past.

great sponge collectorBought this to store my sponges on the inside of my stainless steel sink and keep the countertop clear and clutter free. So far so good. I like the vents and the suction cups seem pretty strong. I'm sure over time, I will have to re-suction but I think that's normal.

No more sponges on the counterThis little holder sticks well to my stainless steel sink and lets me keep my sponges and scrapers off the granite counters. Everything can dry out on its own now.

Container Store has better alternativesThe suction didn't last long. I ended up opting for the kind that hang over the center sink divider that didn't require suction because this just didn't work for very long. Wouldn't even hold a wet sponge because the weight was too much to stay in place.
