Love this glass pitcher!I'm trying to go "plastic free" with drinks left in the fridge. These glass containers are wonderful! They easily hold 1/2 gallon of milk and a large juice can or bottle. I can tell the difference in the taste of the milk and juice...no tin or plastic taste.
Easy lock tight lid and easy to hand wash or put in the dishwasher.
Great product, glad I found them!

Not for hot foodThe label On the pitcher does not state that these are not for hot foods. It says to let food cool before filling. I bought the large one for soup, but even after cooling the seal does not stay sealed. When I get it out from the refrigerator, the seal is never tight. I don’t know if that would be a problem with cold beverages. They look good and will probably be fine for cold beverages.

Love it but...I make my own nut milks and coconut milk and use this every single day. I do love it, but, I find that the milk gets trapped in the lid and I have been unable to find a proper way to clean it. It's now a little black in the top of the lid where no brush is going to get to it and I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I do not have a dishwasher and I have tried soaking it in hot soapy water and hot water with white vinegar, but to no avail. If anyone has any advice that isn't to put it in a dishwasher, I would greatly appreciate it!

Quality pitcherPurchased the squat, square pitcher to keep homemade iced tea in the fridge and I love it. It's the perfect size to fit easily on the top shelf. It also holds a lot, despite its modest stature. The thickness of the glass is another plus. Feels like a quality piece when you hold and pour. And the top stays tight in place, while also being easy to take on and off. Great buy!

Perfect for almond milk!I make my own almond milk and was looking for something with a pour spout, since a mason jar doesn’t have one. I came across this in the store and absolutely LOVE!! It has a handle, a pour spout, and a locking lid. So I can easily shake up my almond milk without it spilling out. Best purchase ever!! 110% recommend!

Cracked in dishwasherI loved the design of this pitcher and the fact that it fits on a shelf in the fridge, but mine cracked in the dishwasher a couple months after I bought it. It was inexpensive enough that I may try another one, but it was a bummer that it broke, even though it was probably a fluke.

Just what I neededThese pitchers make it much easier to manage liquids. The gallon jugs get heavy for some of us, and by dividing the contents and having a handle to grab...such a simple thing but works so much better. I have some pitchers of the same size but without handles and they are harder to use.

Um, pass....I've used this product for about 6 months now, and I really want to like it. When I went to purchase it originally, it was on back-order and I had to wait for it to arrive to the store. Last week I was making tea in it, and it cracked and tea began leaking out of the crack. Not good. Prior to that point, I had noticed that the top doesn't offer a great, solid seal, but it was good enough that that wasn't a big deal. Now, it's completely unusable, of course. Big waste of money and time. I would not recommend; I have other products that are far superior, better constructed, and cheaper.

All good except weightIt is a perfect size to fit in the fridge and I can get my whole hand inside to clean easily and thoroughly. But, it's already very heavy and I have to fill it up on top of that. The locking lid is a clever idea, clean and convenient. It would've been perfect if it was lighter!

Do not purchaseI bought this because I wanted something cute for hosting and to store homemade juices. I only used it once and the top broke. I saw people returning it but I figured they didn't like it. I am very unhappy with the product and will be returning it tomorrow. I will look for something similar as I really love the shape and style of the product.

Glass at lastThis short squaty pitcher is perfect. First is made of glass no chemicals leaching into my drinks. Second it is space saver for one gallon. Third it is easy to clean. At first my husband said no way that holds a gallon of anything its too small. So to prove to him it did I took my old plastic gallon tea pitcher filled it with water and poured into this glass one and it held every last drop!! Love this please do allow a bit more room in the handle, but it is comfortable to pour from.

Good unless you have large handsThis pitcher is a nice size to fit into a refrigerator door or on the shelf. It's heavy and seems of good quality. The lid does seal, although there is a trick to tightening the lid and the instructions are pretty tiny. Its chief drawback is how tight the space is between the pitcher itself and the handle--I'm a woman with typical woman hands (I don't have big ol' man hands) and past the first joint it is a tight fit for my fingers to grip the handle. It's not a terribly big deal, but it would be nice if I didn't feel like I was squeezing my hand in there every time I used it--and there is no way my husband can use it, it's simply too tight to squeeze his fingers in.

Like Grandma's Fridge wareLove the fact that the pitchers aren't plastic!! They both fit in the compartment on the door perfectly. I use the large one for brewed ice tea and the smaller one for iced coffee. Being able to pop them in the dishwasher is fabulous.

Short, squat & super usefulThe short pitcher is definitely short, so it won't be the tall elegant picture of your dreams. But it is incredibly useful and a great size for entertaining. Easy to clean. Easy to store, with the relatively square shape. I may eventually buy more, or try the smaller taller pitcher.

Great pitcherI already own one of these and decided to get another. I have the shorter size which fits in my refrigerator door or on a shelf. The glass is quite thick and durable. The lid can be locked in place if you desire. And the mouth of the jar is wide enough for my hand to get into the jar for cleaning if I hand wash. Although it usually goes in the dishwasher (I put the lid on the top rack). I highly recommend this product.

PERFECT!!!These are very sturdy, simple pitchers. I love that the lids seal very tightly so odors/leaks are not an issue. I happen to think that the handles are great, too and I don't have "tiny" hands. The lids are simple to use to insure a tight seal. The pitchers fit in the door of my fridge. Milk tastes oh-so-good from a glass pitcher!! I've washed everything in the dishwasher without a problem. Ordered four of these and couldn't be happier. (2 for milk, 1 for tea, 1 for orange juice) LOVE LOVE LOVE these. And, I might add, customer service is top notch-when original arrived broken, I sent an email and was totally surprised that I got a response within an hour. LOVE this store, too!!

Glass Refrigerator PitcherWe use the large pitcher for orange juice. The size is perfect for mixing frozen orange juice. It even holds 4 cans of water plus one can of concentrate; our preferred dilution rate. Comes with a tightly sealing lid which prevents the content from taking on refrigerator odors. However, the lid has to be taken off to pour. Glass is non leaching and you are able to clearly see the content. The spout drips a little when pouring.
Handle seems a little close to the body for large hands.

Good glass pitcher!I've read even BPA free plastics may be harmful, so I've switched to glass for my food storage. This container does break if boiling water is poured in, but other than that it's very durable!! Wide mouth makes it easy to clean & it's dishwasher safe. Just be sure to keep all 4 of the plastic lid parts accounted for. Lose one and the lid will not work. Locks refrigerator odors out of pitcher. Good size to fit in fridge. Looks nice on the dinner table too!

Perfect for iced tea!!!Love the pitcher. Handle is a little too close to the body of the pitcher but not a show stopper. The lid hermetically seals and is very easy to use, even with arthritic hands! Fits well in fridge and keeps tea tasting just-brewed fresh for days! Love it!!!

Just OKWe thought this was just the ticket for our new refrigerator with less space between shelves. However, the lid components kept coming apart and falling into the juice. Also, the juice dripped down the side from the spout.

Was Not Pleased with This PurchaseI purchased the shorter pitcher to cool brew ice tea. It's strong and sturdy, however, it is hard to hold when pouring (handle too close to body) and liquids usually drip down side of pitcher after pouring. I find it poorly designed.

Loved it so much, I got 2I've owned a 34oz one for years for mixing lemonade with iced tea, infusing water with fruit, etc. I brew tea in it with 212 degrees F water straight from my electric kettle. No issues with it at all, as the pitcher has always been at room temperature first. Then I let it cool down for over an hour until no longer warm to the touch, and I stick it in the fridge. Got another one and have been doing the same with it. No cracks, no leaks, etc., even though the company says not to put boiling liquids in the pitchers, with their max somewhere around 148F.

Handy Glass PitcherBought two of these as replacements for some thinner walled glass pitchers I purchased at a major discount retailer.These work great! The low profile of this pitcher and size work well for refrigerator door storage. The tight fitting lid keeps the contents fresh! I have some other Frigoverre storage containers that I use for food storage and they are superb as well. A great price is always a bonus!
I have a habit of losing lids. Would it be possible to order an extra lid? Also, I live in Wichita, KS, and we have no "Container Stores" in Wichita. When will it be possible to order one for delivery. (the 34 oz ).

I buy 1 gallon of milk at a time and freeze half until I need it. I've been using plastic containers in the freezer, then in the refrigerator. I'm a little worried about the handle on this item. Can I use this in the freeze, then fridge?

Is this heat resistant?
Does this pitcher allow one to MAKE HOT tea in it??? I like to use glass to make hot tea then cool it for ice tea…cannot find a pitcher that accepts boiling or near boiling water.

This is a perfect pitcher for iced tea, as long as you don't pour boiling hot water into it! I fill the pitcher with cold water, pour and boil about 2/3 of it in a pan, and steep 8 tea bags for about 15 minutes. I then pour the prepared tea back into the pitcher over the cold water left in it earlier. The cold water protects the hot tea from getting dangerously hot for the pitcher.
