2.1 qt. Flip-Spout Acrylic Styrene PitcherI bought 2 similar pitchers 20 years ago. I use them to make iced tea because they are boiling-water safe. Eventually the lids broke so I ordered 2 new ones. Hope they last 20 years!!
Probably should not put them in dishwasher, I think that's why the lids broke.

Best pitchers everAbsolutely love these pitchers. They hold a lot but take up very little space in the refrigerator. My sister was a guest at my house for several days and she asked for 4 if these for her birthday.

Great pitcher, but....I bought three of these pitchers at The Container Store in San Antonio, TX in order to divide a gallon of milk into two containers, plus have one for iced tea. The osteoarthritis in my hands and wrists made it very painful for me to lift a gallon jug. The design and balance of the pitchers are great, and working well for my needs. However, the pitcher would be more functional for me (and for others reviewing it here, I see) if it were about 1-1 1/2" shorter, as it is too tall to fit into most shelves in the frig. On the ones it does, it is a close fit at the top, and requires care to extract without hitting on the shelf above. Also, unless the pitchers are 'secured' in the frig bin, they tip over when the door is opened, even if full. That means the bin has to be fairly full, so that the pitchers are somewhat held in place by wider containers next to them. Making the pitchers shorter and a little wider #side to side, not front to back# would make them ideal. With these changes, they would fit better in the frig, be more stable and still save space. I'd buy a couple more of them then.

Is not spill-proofI like the look and size. But I bought this for orange juice and it leaks when you shake it to mix the juice. I'll keep it for other uses but now have to search for a better pitcher for mixing juice.

Ok ProductI tried lifting the top, but it broke and I haven't been able to fix it. I thought it would have a large enough spout for the bird food, but its not. I will probably give this to a friend to use for beverages.

yeay!A pitcher that fits the fridge, dishwasher and the cabinet AND holds 2 qt of juice without a lot of trouble getting the stuff into the pitcher in the first place. Had a 1 gal pitcher that the top was way to small to be functional. This is perfect! Will be getting a couple more.

Great PurchaseI love this pitcher...it is smaller and oval so it can fit on a refrigerator door without taking up a lot of space. I love the handles on the side that make the pitcher airtight. A really great purchase!!

Awesome, Non-sippy cup-looking pitcher that rocks!This pitcher is awesome. Let's face it, most pitchers that are practical are ugly. Even if you might not have them, it might look like you have a heard of 4 year olds living in your home, based on your kitchen storage containers. I wanted a pitcher that would 1) fit in my fridge door 2) was dishwasher safe 3) was attractive that I could put on the dining table in the morning 4) could still hold a lot 5) wouldn't break or chip if knocked / dropped (unlike glass). This one does it all. I keep mine stocked with fresh iced tea every day. Guests love it. Kind of like my own Teavana bar, with only 1 daily option.
When my boyfriend went looking for one by his house because he wanted the same type as me and could only find "adult looking sippy cup pitchers," I ended up ordering one online and sending it to his house. What a great Valentine's Day gift I gave him!
Seriously though, he loves it. And I love mine.

Great Product, Need AnothertI love this pitcher. It's perfect for lemonaide and dosen't take up much space in the fridge. Very druable. i clean it in the bottom rack of the dishwasher and no cracks. I keep one in the firide for my four year old and want another for ice tea. Great buy!

Very ConvenientI love how easy it is to pour these with the flip-spout. It locks in place nicely, and seem to clean well. I also love that they are dishwasher safe. I usually prefer glass, but these are much easier to pour than the glass ones that The Container Store sells.

Good PitcherThis is a good little pitcher. The fact that the lid locks in place is a good feature. It is tall and slender so it is easy to fit on the shelf in the frig among the wider milk jugs and 2 liter bottles. I highly recommend this pitcher to replace bulkier and cheaper made pitchers. Solid investment for the price.

Slim but too tallI love the slim design but wish it was just a bit shorter as it doesn't fit on any of our shelves. We have 2 in the door shelf, and never run out of cold water now!
Would this be able to store milk? I love the mini milk bottles, but they seem like they would take up more space than the actual milk jug.

The top comes off but the spout and area around the gasket is hard to clean if you are using it for anything that stains or is organic.

Would this be a good container to store homemade broth?
I'm making homemade broth and want a container solution that I can pour out (sort of like the tetra packs from Campbell's) would this be a good container for that? Is it easy to clean and does it retain smells?

Provided the liquid is allowed to completely cool before it's poured into a storage container, our 2.1 qt. Flip-Spout Acrylic Styrene Pitcher would be suitable for storing and decanting of broth or stock. If there are concerns about the plastic retaining the aroma of its contents, we offer several pitcher options in glass (shown below). (The same caveat to allow the liquid to completely cool applies to all pitchers, regardless of the material from which they are made.)

can I get a replacement top for this pirtcher?
I have two of them and I really love this product. But the top of one of them has a broken plastic part so it no longer can be used as a covered pitcher. Can I buy a replacement top (spout)?

Would baking soda pour properly from the spout of this pitcher?
Looking for something that is more attractive/pours better than a large baking soda box.

I think this would be overkill for your needs. Get something half this size. I haven't tried it, but I believe that it wouldn't be so smooth a pour from this top. I think there are a lot of better choices for storing your baking soda. This is really designed for liquids.
