GreatWe use this everyday, pour boiling hot tea into it and icing it down for everyday drinking. After breaking/chipping several glass pitchers it was time to go acrylic. BPA free and a little style, I thought I'd give it a try. It's large enough for several full glasses and durable enough for the dishwasher. Don't use a tough sponge on it as it will scratch. The lid has a closed, open and perforated pour setting, just turn it. It's perfect we will get a second when needed.

works for meI looked all over town for a BPA free pitcher and couldn't find one. I got on line and found the Container Store. I found one that I just love. It is not only attractive but fits well in the door, handle and all. I find if the top is aligned well you can shake the contents in an upright postion without a problem. The lid is not air tight so you have to handle with a little more care.

Just okThis pitcher is awkward because it is so tall and has a very slow pour. Also, due to the height, we have to store it on the door in the fridge it falls if the door is opened or closed too hard.

The exterior dimensions of our Acrylic Pitcher are 4-5/8" in diameter x 11" high; including the handle, the pitcher is 6-1/2" wide.

does the lid seal tightly, so liquid can be shaken without it leaking?

Our Acrylic Pitcher does feature a tight seal, but shaking the contents of it is not recommended. The lift-off lid can be rotated to an "open" position for dispensing liquids and may leek or come completely off if the pitcher is agitated vigorously.
Our pitchers that do feature a "shake-worthy" seal are recommended below.

My pitcher needs to fit on a shelf that only has 10.25 inches of clearance. Is there a way to store the lid inside that would make this fit?

The lid cannot nest inside of the pitcher. We have made a couple of alternative product suggestions that will fit your height requirement.
