Not Loud EnoughI like the size, the ease of setting and clearing times along with the magnet. But even with my hearing aids in I can barely hear the high pitch alarm when it sounds. The 5 times I have used it - I've had to watch the count down of time left and not rely on the alarm sound. About 30 miles to the store so to far to return it.

Worst Purchse EverI bought this for my elderly mom thinking it would be basic and simple to use as a replacement for a standard kitchen timer. At $6.99 - you get what you pay for - I ended up returning it. I couldn't get it to set for 10 mins or 2 hours. The timer went from back and forth from 95 mins to 86 mins. The Container Store clerk couldn't even figure it out.

Great teacher tool!I am an elementary art teacher and use this timer daily! When we're up to our elbows creating with paint or clay, it's easy to lose track of time. Setting the timer helps my students know when clean-up time begins so that we can spend more time creating and less time watching the clock.
