PerfectThis knife dock is very useful. I'd much rather have my knives in a drawer that sitting out in a butcher's block. It says it fits up to 11 knives but fits my 6 steak knives and 4 large knives perfectly. Not too big and not too small as it fits all I need it to perfectly. My knives are put away safely and stay clean, love it.

So Convenient for Galley Kitchen Narrow DrawersI went to the Container Store to look at a larger stand up knife block, but saw this narrow in the drawer knife dock. It fits my narrow galley kitchen drawers, and I was able to fit my 5 favorite kitchen knives and 4 steak knives from my dinner set. AND there is room on the side of the dock to fit serving pieces too.
I am so happy with this product, and it freed up the counter space my old butcher block knife rack took up.

Love my new knife rack.I really wanted something to protect my Cutco knives that would keep them off my counter. This is perfect!! Fits all knives - It is a little difficult to see what knife you're looking for but that's expected.

Terrific!Finally tossed conventional wooden knife holder and freed up counter space. This "Knife Dock" holds the knives securely, is easy to access, and takes up less space (though in some kitchens, drawer space is more precious than counter space). We love it!

misleading descriptionThe knife dock did not have the cork like material for the knife slots, just a hard plastic like the outer casing. There is a softer plastic under where the handles go but not continuing under the knife blade area. Not sure this will make the knives go duller sooner than a soft material like the cork or softer plastic? Disappointed the description was wrong or would have purchased the wooden version for $10 more. I believe that does have the cork showing clearly. The photo for the Grey dock looked like a dark colored cork but now seeing it in person it is the hard plastic. Won't send it back as not really worth the shipping charges to do so! Bummer. It does fit in my narrow drawer so that is fine and holds the knives in place but I have 4 bigger knives and a few smaller and that is about all it holds as the width of the handles of the knives prevent placing a knife per slot. Doesn't really adjust like the description says either , just many thin slots available.
