Amazing for berriesThese are so awesome; I can't believe how long berries stay fresh! I kept blueberries in mine for at least two and a half weeks and they stayed exactly the same as when I bought them, no exaggeration! I love that the reminder to change the refill is in the container itself, since I'm about as forgetful as you can be---and the pointer is secure enough that you can't accidentally move it when opening the lid.. One of the best purchases I've made in a while!

Excellent!These containers work as expected. A few notes:
- The lids to not latch. I imagine this is to encourage airflow. This does not bother me as they are meant for fridge storage at home and not for transport.
- Do not cram items into a smaller container. When in doubt, size up. I had two packs of strawberries in the 5qt container and they lasted for TWO weeks in my fridge. I made sure to wipe out any condensation that began to collect anytime I took some berries out to eat.
- Ensure that the produce you place into these containers is FRESH-- anything you buy at the store that is starting to look past its prime will not benefit from these containers.

Love Oxo Produce Keepers --- Maintain Freshness!I recommend Oxo Produce Keeper! I have the little 1.6 Qt for fruits, medium for lettuce and kale, and large for long roots such as celery, carrots, and scallions. Note: the celery is too long to fit into the bin---you have to cut them for storage. The Oxo Produce Keeper helps keep all my produce fresher and longer with minimal maintenance after regular wash. Sometimes, I'll stash all my veggies in one container until I have time to wash and re-store them. When tight for space, I've shoved celery, carrots, and scallions in one bin without incident with rot or being smelly. There's an inner basket that separates the produce from touching the food-safe outer container and is a colander. There are two negatives: 1) buying the carbon filters; they last 3 to 6 months---they are worth it to me. 2) The bins are plastic. I have not been able to find anything in glass. I've tried the little greensaver crisper insert, and I don't like them at all. It doesn't work as well as the individual containers. All my fruits and veggies in the Oxo bins last 1-2 weeks longer. I have shared my stash of bins with family and friends.

Perfect!I love a good salad and needed a container to keep/preserve my lettuce. My lettuce would go bad 2-3 days after purchasing, which was wasteful. So, I did some research and found the reviews for this container to be convincing. I purchased this container and love it. To my surprise one week and a half after I placed my lettuce in this container and in the refrigerator it remains crispy and fresh. I want to purchase the other two sizes also hoping they will enable other produce of mine to be preserved longer.

Keep food freshI LOVE this product. I has saved me money in the short time since I purchased the large Greensaver. We eat a big salad everyday and my greens would go bad in a few days. The large container holds the big plastic box of greens from the grocers. They stay crisp and tasty for at least a week. We are able to finish the entire box without waste.

This product actually works as it says.I used to keep cilantro leaves in a plastic container with a paper towel in as a base to keep them fresh but that helped for a week or so and after that leaves start getting bad but with this product I can store the cilantro leaves for a month just as fresh as I bought. Loved this product.

Great for fruit!These do work! I have bought every size and use them to store all my produce. Large one for lettuce, medium size for cantaloupe, pineapples and the small one for blueberries. What I love most is that it keep the fruit from sitting in its own juices and getting mushy. Only down size is that they do take up a bit of space in your fridge.

Life Changing!!I hate to be dramatic, but these are LIFE CHANGING! I cannot believe how long they kept my strawberries, blueberries, grapes and blackberries fresh.....WEEKS! I also have been using them for lettuces lately and same thing, freshy-freshy! They are an investment but I think of how much money I was wasting throwing away spoiled food that they are so worth it!

With the vent system, along with the carbon packet, I can combine different salad fixings, making my lunch salads easy and quick to put together. Not to mention, all the fixings stay fresh longer, much longer than my crisper drawers. If you are a salad eater, this product is a must!!!

Love themBought the 4.3 & 5 quart keepers. The smaller one holds 2-3 pounds of grapes and 1-2 pounds of strawberries. The bigger one holds 2 bags of chopped Romaine. Used all up & nothing spoiled. Open 2 more packages to put into keeper when it was empty, but second bag had already spoiled in the bag.
Only downside to these keepers is they’re hard to lift out of refrigerator. There’s nothing to hold onto & even though I have large hands can’t span either keeper. Since I’m handicapped it makes it hard to get them out. An indent on the sides or even handles would mak them perfect.

Cutest Berry KeeperI've bought two now -each for my daughters who are in college. It is a handy tool that has multiple uses. Not only does it keep those berries fresh but the basket and container can be used multiple ways. My favorite piece is the cheat sheet imprinted on the back side of the slide - it teaches novice produce buyers how to use this product to make fruits and veggies last longer. This product is also made strong - it is not flimsy at all and washes very well.

Fresh Salad Lasts and LastsWho knew that greens could stay so fresh for so long? We love having more lunch-time salads now that the large Oxo Produce Keeper has a place in the fridge and the baby spinach, kale and red and green lettuces can live happily there day after day.

Worst OXO productI bought 2 of these (5 qt. and 4.3 qt.) and was very disappointed. They don't work as well as green refrigerator bags and they take up a lot of space relative to what they hold. After I initially tried them I thought the problem may be that the filters they came with were too old so I bought a new box of filters and they didn't work any better.
I've stopped using them but unfortunately I didn't keep receipt or packaging so I can't return.

xmas gift for family!This container preserved a huge head of lettuce from a farmers market for over 1 MONTH!! It was incredible! Now I'm giving it to everyone in my family for Christmas.
Hey! I was wondering what kind of foods would be good for the different sizes. We have a lot of berries and bell peppers that we buy and I am not sure which sizes are best.

OXO Greensaver (White/Clear Baskets) - Where did they go?
Does anyone know if there was a reason why these are no longer made in white/clear baskets like the video demonstrating them is? I really want my refrigerator to look clean inside and bright green just does not seem aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Please bring them back OXO!

Yes. BPA free. Berries in particular don't last long. I purchase berries from the farmer's market every week and as long as you don't wash them until you are ready to eat them, they will last up to two weeks in the OXO greensaver.
