Gives produce a longer lifeSo simple & yet such a big difference! Since I started using these, my produce lasts about 10 days longer. Lettuce & kale stay crisp. Fruit doesn’t get spots or turn to mush. So amazing!

HmmmmmI was really excited to purchase these! The pic shows a wide variety of items next to the greensaver. For me...I found it worked wonderful on fleshy things like peppers, jalapenos, apples, blueberries, to name a few. However it didn't work on my leafy veggies like lettuce, romaine, cilantro, etc. I went in to the store to pick up my order, looked around (of course) and saw oxo sells other containers to keep these items fresh???? Well, I thought I should be in the clear with this AMAZING greensaver?! Nnnnnope. I recommend it because it has saved some of my fruits and veggies but I'm not super thrilled my leafy veggies aren't keeping well :-(
How do you start the time tracker, there are no instructions on this and mine isnt tracking time/moving

The OXO greensaver Round Crisper does not have a timer. Once you put the OXO greensaver Round Crisper in your fridge you should set the dial for the month you've started using it. It will last approximately 90 days. The dial is just a reminder – it does not actually count down. Thank you for your question. We hope this helps!

Do the carbon files come with the Crisper Inserts?
The description did not specify if the carbon filters come with the crisper insert or I have to purchase separately. Please advise.

Will this work if you leave the lettuce in an open container in the drawer or does it need to be in something with open sides?

I usually buy the package of Romaine with 5 or 6 heads. I'm pretty casual and just open the bag and pull one out and don't even bother to close the bag. These things worked so well for me I never had a problem with the lettuce spoiling.

Is there a maximum volume that the filter will work on?
I only have one crisper and it's pretty large — the entire width of my refrigerator. Should I place two filters in there, one at each end?

Do you stand behind its effectiveness? If yes, please explain.
I have tried so many devices/methods to extend the life of my produce and so far nothing has satisfied me. I am vegetarian and use lots of fresh produce.
I am also an environmentalist with insufficient walkable sources so I buy a large quantity and try to use it before it degrades - not always successfully.
