Very useful!This is so handy and cleverly designed. I love that their is a lip on the end of each shelf and that helps keep the bottles of spices on the shelf especially as you remove or put back a bottle. (This is a flaw I encountered with lots of other spice racks!). I love the expandable size it fits a lot of bottles of spices. My only wish is that they made a mega size with deeper shelves so I could store and organize my spices that I keep in mason jars.

Does not fit standard size cans.When the descriptions stated that this would fit small cans, I thought it meant regular small cans such as vegetables, fruits, beans, etc. What it should really say is that it fits small soup cans or smaller. This ended up being a waste of money for me unfortunately because of the size issue.

Works Well for Smaller CansI had high hopes for this product and still really like it, but it was not made for the larger cans that are now on the market. It fits your standard can size (think old school Campbell's Soup). I have to angle my large cans in order to get them to fit. Other than that, I like it and I love how it expands to widen.

Expandable spice rackI used to this to organize my spices and this made my cabinet looking nice and neat. Easy to spot things when I'm cooking rather than shoving things around to look for specific spice. Love it!

Improves visibility in a narrow, deep pantryI love loose leaf teas and have accumulated several jars. Tiering them lets me see them all. Each layer has a lip to prevent containers from spilling out if jostled.

Spicy organizationI have wondered if I was ever going to be able to make my spice cabinet presentable. Actually, to just make it possible to visualize all spice containers was a hope of mine. All spices and spice spice bags were stacked and shoved in the cabinet here another with no sense of order. Ugh! As soon as I saw the expandable shelf I knew I had to get it. I didn't have to worry about how it would fit as far as width because it is adjustable. So happy about the end result!

Flexible Cabinet StorageLove this storage for spices and other kitchen products! I especially like that I was able to expand it to fit the entire length of my cabinet to make the most use of the space.
what is the largest diameter bottle that can fit on these shelves?

I don't know the exact diameter, but the same size as a standard can of Campbells Chicken Noodle Soup...nothing larger, otherwise you have to tilt it.

How much clearance would you suggest from the top tier to the top of the cabinet if using for spices?

It really depends on the size of the spices you are storing. However, most spices are about 4-5 inches in height, so we'd suggest a little extra for clearance.

If storing only spice jars, how many will this hold when fully expanded?
I'd like to know how many spice jars this product will hold when fully expanded. I am currently using a 12" lazy Susan for my spice jars and I'm trying to compare which is more efficient.

How many bottles this will hold greatly depends on the sizes of bottles being stored. However, this should have more storage space than the 12" lazy susan since you can leverage all of the space versus having spaces between bottles when stored in a circle.

I purchased a similar item in nest years ago & now need more mesh style racks. The expanding is great on this style but not sure If the lip feature to protecting Items from falling off will work - old school style better. Any suggestions?
