Set of 12 Large "clear" bins came yellowedI ordered 12 clear large bins along with 12 each of the clear small and medium. The 12 large bins are a yellow color and look old and dingy compared to the small and medium bins. My guess is they are old stock. These were going to be for pantry organization, but since they don't all match I'm going to have to come up with something else unless Container Store can swap them by mail for 12 large bins that are actually clear.

Love These!!These containers are perfect for organizing! They are durable, sturdy and come in multiple sizes. Closets Best FriendI don’t use dressers because my bedrooms are too small. I built shelves but just stacked the items on the shelf that increased the chaos. So we decided to try the clear large bins we came across at our first visit to the store a couple months ago. I bought four. Came home and put them to use and tada they look and work wonderfully. Am so glad I tried something new.

Game Changer for Laundry Room!I bought this after using the Organization Studio to receive help with how to organize my laundry room. The specialist reviewed my before picture and suggested many items to include these white plastic storage bins with handles. My laundry room just LOOKS so much better walking in now. I hated how before I could see all the labels on everything, and nothing was organized. At first my husband didn't think these organizers would be necessary, but after receiving them and organizing everything, he apologized and said it's made such a difference when reaching for things!
These bins created organization and made my laundry room a thousand times more attractive!

Perfect size and weightI purchased several of the large and the small sizes and I love them in my pantry. They fit perfectly on my shelves, hold what I need them to hold and are sturdy but not heavy.
Transformed my pantry from chaos to organized and a place I sometimes just walk into and stand because it is so nice and pretty in there now. (See Before and After pics)

Just What Was NeededThese storage bins come in a variety of sizes and the Starter Kit gave me enough options to get started on organizing my kitchen pantry. I already reordered some sizes that I know I definitely need for additional storage. My only little complaint is that they are slightly flimsy, but I like that they are see-through and my picky husband can still find things in the bins.

Plastic is quite flimsyI got the large plastic storage bin with handles to hold bottles of liquid, but the plastic is flimsy enough that it feels as if it will bend or even break when Iift, slide, or pull the bin. I wouldn't recommend these.

Perfect for what I neededI ordered 12 of these - 6 in the clear and 6 in the smoke for some kitchen cabinets under my passthrough and they are the perfect size for what I needed. Sturdy, ever so clear so you can see what's inside but they look fairly nice, especially the smoke. Very happy with these.

Classroom organizationI use the small ones to organize my classroom library. Paper back books, trade paper back books and library bound books fit in the bins. Hardbacks are hit or miss. I use the medium ones for picture books.

Perfect for every cabinet and shelf !These container helped brig organization and to be clutter -free in my cabinets. I was able to store assorted items such as packaged dried fruits & nuts, teas, vitamins & tinctures, Mason jars & lids, containers nd lids to keep everything in their proper place.
The bins are endless in their uses and function. It all depends upon your own need and imagination. The sizes are perfect and versatile to fit into all different space. I used in some closets that could’t fit to accommodate the wider dimensions by turning them around to fit a narrower space.
I preferred the white storage bins opposed to the clear or smokey color. The white helped pull together the uniformity and order i was seeking. I used the largest bin to store fresh vegetables and fruits on my shelf.

Perfect for organizing my pantry, I just need to add labels to remind my husband what goes in each bin!
They do not stack, which is fine with me as I can see that being a pain in shifting bins around. My kids can easily reach the snack bins on the bottom shelf. They are larger than you think so definitely measure your space to make sure they’ll fit.

Organization!!!This is my second order for these containers and I bought a dozen of each of the four sizes. I started with my pantry cupboard and really liked that I can readily see what I have and the containers are easy to carry. I was so pleased with the way the pantry turned out that I re-ordered the containers and used them in other kitchen cupboards and in a walk-in closet in my bathroom. They are useful all over the house. Well made and the price is reasonable, especially if you order a dozen at a time.

Nice simple storage binsThese bins hold a lot of items and keeps my under the cabinet area tidy.
I'd like to use the small size bins on my top cabinet shelf to store cans of food. With a small sized bin holding 6 15.5oz cans of food, would they be okay for that purpose, or would they bend when I tried to take them down from the shelf?

I find these bins very sturdy. I use the larger size for for baking needs like flour, sugar, potatoes, and cans. I only put the lighter weight items on the top shelf (as I am short and don't want everything to fall on me.).

If I use paint markers on these to label them, does it leave a stain?

They are too tall for my cabinets. Can they be cut down?

Plastic easy to cut down. Draw line with ruler and magic marker. Then use a sharp blade in a box cutter, exacto or other blades knife. The new edge can be smoothed with sandpaper. (Do that part outside so you don’t breathe in plastic.)

Can you use these for soaking clothes, and if so, what is the volume of liquid that they can hold?

I would not recommend using these bins for washing laundry. They might discolor if the fabric bleeds and the plastic is too thin not firm for using liquids. Not sure how the chemicals would interact with this product.
However, if it works for you, go for it !
