Product Information

Keep brown sugar soft and ready to use with this terra cotta disk. Designed exclusively for newer, slimmer POP modular canisters, the Brown Sugar Keeper attaches easily under the enhanced lid and works with the container's airtight seal to maintain freshness. Simply soak in water for 15 seconds and drain excess moisture before using. Even hardened brown sugar will begin to soften once the disk is added to your container. We recommend using with the 1.1 Quart POP Container that holds one pound of brown sugar (sold separately).

How does this attach to the oxo pop lid?

I bought a set of Oxo Pop containers with the hope of using one for brown sugar. I don’t see how this attachment connects to the lid. I’m worried I have the wrong containers for this but can’t find pictures of the lids it works for. Thanks

Yeah, I bought this because the product description says "Fits all POP container lids". Once I opened it, I realized it does NOT. I looked on the Oxo site and it says "Only attaches to POP lids with circular holders on the underside, available as of August 2019". It looks like the new line of containers have little knobs on the underside of the lids to attach things like a scoop or brown sugar saver.

Along with our POP Brown Sugar Keeper, we recommend a 0.8 quart capacity POP Canister or larger to store a 1 pound bag of brown sugar.

Is this just a terracotta disc or is it attached to the plastic that connects to the OXO containers? Is the plastic piece removable?

It is 100% terracotta that has a grove etvhed into it so it will attach to the underside of the lid.

Currently, the OXO Good Grips POP Brown Sugar Keeper can only be used as an accessory with POP Canisters that have White lids.
