Sugar and flour holderI do love these items and they do the job of holding our sugar and other products. But, I would have to say that I would have liked a better way to open them. they always seem stuck. And to close is not easy either, but they were at a good price.

Best ValueGreat for what it was designed to do. Holds a 4 lbs. bag of sugar tightly. Might not fit a 5 lbs. bag, which seems to be the current standard size. I also would not consider the container to be airtight as the description states, since it has no real seal on it. However, it's storing sugar so that's no big deal. It keeps things neat, clean, and safe. For what it does and the price - you can't beat it.

Smart buyNow I finally have a solution to the clean-up issue in my spice cabinet with excess sugar grains everywhere. This serves a great purpose for very little money and the quality is very good.

If there is liquid in this container and it falls on its side will it leak out?

Yes, liquid will leak. The seal is not airtight nor very secure - i.e., doesn't clasp tightly.
