Seal Doesn't LastI've been using these containers for about two years and have been dying to switch them out. At first, I really liked them because I could stack them without fear of things breaking if they fell. However, the seal on these are terrible. I noticed after a few months of using them, the seal wasn't tight and one time i went to lift the container from the top (I was trying to wriggle it out of my cabinet before I could grab it from all sides) and the whole thing came off and I had oatmeal all over my floor. I would highly recommend actually investing in glass containers with an air tight seal as these containers won't last you. Also, I found the lids a bit difficult to wash.

Great container for my baking ingredients !Being a neatmom, I just again reorgqnized my kitchen pantry and cabinets. I'm so thrilled to open my cabinets with more matching clear containers to hold foods.
Glad to know a place like the CONTAINER store to have choices of storage. Only wish their price would be more lower.

Great brown sugar keeperI just purchased one to hold brown sugar and I am really impressed by the quality and sturdiness of this container. The locking mechanism works perfectly to seal the contents from air, moisture, and insects. It looks like it's going to be a great purchase.

Work great. Stackable. Thin cover compare to otherI ordered few of them to storage my food/snacks.
Ithey are easy to close and open. Even a 5 yo can do that right.
I like them in square or rectangle that use maximum space until round/circle container.
Ppl complain about removing label leaves some residue. The right way to do that is use a hair dryer to heat up the sticker and you can remove it perfectly.

Great to keep ground coffee in the refrigeratorI've been using one of these -- the 1.4 quart -- for years to keep my ground Bustelo Coffee in the refrigerator. It's just the right size for a bag of the coffee, seals it tightly to keep coffee flavor and aroma in and other flavors and aromas out.
My recent purchace was a replacement for the earlier one. I dropped its predecessor on out tile floor in the kitchen and a crack started and then grew.
The top is supposedly dishwasher safe, but the bottom needs to be hand-washed. I hand-wash all of it.

Great, clean look!I was looking for canisters to store pet food that would fit the space on our pantry shelf. I purchased two of the 3.7 L size. Works great and looks nice! I wish they came in a larger size, as the largest canister was just a little smaller than exactly what I was looking for.

LOVE THESE!I purchased the smaller and the next size up while in Dallas over a month ago. I was looking for a container to keep single unwrapped slices of American cheese fresh since I buy them from Sam's Club. These are the best containers ever. I have had slices of cheese in both of the container's for over a month. They are not wrapped in any way and they are still completely fresh..no hard spots, nothing. Perfect! People complain about washing the lids, but I take them apart , hand wash, and then I just let them air dry overnight or I dry with paper towels. Paper towels do better drying the seal. They go back together easily. I have no problems with the lid pulling off when in locked position. Mine is locked. I do make sure that the lid if all the way down to where it is suppose to be. Does not pull out and yes, mine are completely air tight or I would have about 3 lbs of sliced American cheese as hard as a rock or moldy. BUY THESE. I am getting more today!

Great set of containersAirtight lock, easy function, top takes up minimal space from container (many tops either aren’t airtight, can fall open if tipped or take up a lot of interior space, delivering less space for contents). Exterior square shape, so can pack close together (some containers are round or have curved walls, wasting precious storage space). Stackable. Good size options.

Does Exactly What I NeedI was looking for a container where I could mix my flax and bran and have it ready to go at meal time so I didn't have to keep opening multiple packages.
The Perfect Seal Container gets the job done and the lock top keeps the mixture fresh. When the top is locked there's no chance of a spill.
These are great for keeping food items fresh and secure.

Great productI bought these canisters because the were air tight. We developed a moth problem in the pantry and I wanted canisters that were both air tight and easy to use. My kids use these canisters and I love it because they close the kids each time. They even think they are fun to use. They are a little expensive, but worth it for their ease of use in terms of locking and unlocking.

Easy to use lidI bought this canister to use for kitchen scraps - we keep them in the refrigerator until we take our trash to the transfer station (rural area). I love the lid design and the square shape holds a lot while not taking up too much space. I wish they came in an opaque version.

selas aren't so perfecti did not like this product. The seals aren't perfect. I've played with them every which way to make sure I didn't fail to turn the top to lock. First of all, even when the top is in the locked position, you can pull the lid right off. Second, it's too easy to move the handle lock if you are putting these into a crowded pantry. I had two spills with mini oyster crackers and one with cereal - - in the pantry! What a mess. I'm done. I don't recommend these.

NOT Air-TightUgh. They are so beautiful... so am very sad that they didn't work out. As soon as I received my order, I immediately purchased several more. Since then, I've discovered that they're not airtight. My sugar is rock hard, and now see that the lid (while in the lock position) easily pulls off.
Not all of them have this problem. I'm still deciding whether to just return the defective ones, or return all of them now in case they all eventually become non-airtight.
I washed them all by hand before using them the first time, and found the lids are next to impossible to get dry. If you plan to wash them often, it will get to be a pain.

adhesive residueRe: 3.7 qt. Square Perfect SE 10059285. $14.99. I purchased this today at the Container Store in Scottsdale.The label on the front of the container does not remove. The unti has been soaking more than two hours and is still in hot, soapy water. I used an abrasive in an attempt to remove the adhesive residue. I have spent an inordinate amount of time scratching at the 2/1/2 x 3" residue.It is no longer "ultra clear" The adhesive used for the barcode/pricing and origin label on the base of the container removed with issue. Very disappointed in product.

Like them BUT. . .I like these containers b/c they help me keep my kitchen cabinets organized. BUT can someone tell me why they put stickers (manufacturer's labels AND price tags) on these that you need who-knows-what to remove the sticky goo? Then they put cleaning instructions inside and RUBBER CEMENT them to the bottom of the the container. Takes forever to remove the stuff. Totally unnecessary. Frustrating.

disappointedI like their shape and that they are air tight and stackable. I don't even mind that they need to be washed by hand. However, if you get the covers wet, they have to be taken apart and are not easy to get dry.

Thick Top, But It Works GreatI purchased 6 of these for our pantry. I use them to store opened bags of lentils, sweet chips, and opened packets of dry mixes. Leftover marshmallows as well. I love that they are clear and the seal works great. I was a little concerned that the soft bottom to the lid would prevent the seal if I packed too much into the container, but no sweat...they really work and the seal is still strong. The turn top to lock the lid is easy to manage.

How do you remove the rubber cement they put inside these containers????????? It is rendering them completely unusable.

What are the dimensions of the BASE of the small container? I would guess from looking at them that the measurement to 5" square is taken from the top

Are these air tight and can they be put in the freezer?

They are perfectly air tight. I've never tried to freeze them. The seal is rubber against plastic and I know those each can react to cold. But the plastic is thick and the rubber feels like silicone. I think they'd hold up.
