TipsyI bought the six piece set of these and have been satisfied with the others. The lid on this one is so heavy it tips the whole thing unless it’s full. The last time it flipped off the counter top and shattered.

Great Set -- Except for the Sugar ContainerI have two sets of these containers -- I use them for EVERYTHING that I use to bake with. I think what ruins this container is the little flip up lid, it just doesn't fit tightly and I always have lumpy sugar. The brown sugar one is seriously awesome, which reinforces the faulty flip up lid. Big lid seals tight to the point of being almost difficult to open (but I'll take this over lumpy sugar any day). Would have been better if they'd just left off the little easy access lid.

Rubber gasket didn’t fit so lid won’t close rightI wanted to love this product. When I got home and opened it in preparation to wash inside before adding sugar, I noticed the lid wouldn’t close correctly as the rubber ring that serves as a gasket, was stretched out and caught caught so it wouldn’t close all the way which must happen before you can snap it close. Not sure if I got a fluke but I’m super annoyed at having to return to the store before Thanksgiving. Clearly there was no quality control on this item. :-(

Pour featureI saw these Prokeepers storage containers for the first time two weeks ago as we were leaving Dallas, TX. We bought several and started converting several pantry items when we arrived home. I like the pour feature on the sugar but it does not snap closed securely . It flips open quite easily and is not flat when closed. I'm thrilled with all the other containers we purchased.

Never knew this existedVery excited about this product and I didnt even know it existed before I bought it.
Positive: Its able to hold a entire 4lb bag of sugar( which is what I consider a standard sized bag) leaving enough empty room for the top to close, it also shows how many cups I have left on the front so im not guessing when I get low, and my favorite is that there is a little tab that you can open on the top that allows you to pour instead of opening the whole top and sticking in a cup to measure out what you need.
Negative: upon buying and then going home, I found that they can scratch very easily but once the sugar is in it, I cant tell, and lastly the tab on top is a little hard to push down after opening, it must click for it to be fully sealed. It could just be a thing that needs to be done several times before it becomes easier to do.
In all, I love it.

Great airproof containerIt holds a full package of sugar and will not break like my smaller glass jar did... all over the kitchen
we have a problems with ants getting into our baking supplies. will this seal enough to keep out ants?

I asked the same question at the store and the store employee wasn’t sure. I have the containers with the lids with the circle that you can pop to open them and wanted to know if these would be tougher for ants to get in to as opposed to the ones I have. Employee pointed out (& I agree) that these are definitely tougher to close (which I believe is due to stronger internal barrier) so I’m hoping they work better at keeping ants out. Nothing worse than having to toss a bag of something due to those critters invading it.

Would this hold sugar in the bag it comes in? Or do I have to empty the sugar into the container?
I am looking for a container that will hold the sugar in its original bag that it is sold in. I do not want to have to empty the bag into the container. I would like to drop the bag in the container and just open the top of the bag.
