Loved these at first and have had them for about 6 months but unfortunately now where the lids snap on the glass is chipping away which is not ideal for a food storage.

Poor lidsPurchased cuz if reputation and reviews but I threw one out and three of others the lids warp and will not drop down to seal. The lids make this totally useless I so wanted to love sine glass and lids appeared to be easy to seal. Wrong!

Absolutely love this glass food storage setVery happy with my purchase. I love that these are glass storage food containers and the ease of snapping the lids on is perfect. This set holds many leftovers and keeps things fresh. Very happy at how the seal rings are removable to clean/wash. I love how the seal rings are teal in color, which matches my kitchen accent colors. I totally recommend this set!

Breaks OpeningMy wife just took the medium container out of the refrigerator and while taking the lid off the whole corner broke off.
The large one that broke she was putting soap in to wash and barely touched the sink and it broke.
For a product that can go from the oven to the refrigerator should not break so easily.
I just bought 3 sets of 8 for her along with a bunch of other containers and we are not impressed with these.

Spontaneous BreakageI want to begin by saying I love OXO products. However, I’m disappointed with these glass containers. We’ve been using our containers for a week now. We placed a container in our sink.... an hour later, I hear, crack! ... I thought it may have been a bird flying into the window ... I went to investigate, and there it was, cracked in half, from one side to the other. The container literally was not touched for 1 hour ... and I bought 3 sets of the 8 piece set. I did read the reviews of how fragile they were and thought, nah, these aren’t true, they’re competitors trying to sway you to the other products. .... but it’s true. Now I’m nervous, and I wait for the remainder of my pieces to spontaneously break. They’re so pretty... such a shame :(

Storage to PerfectionI bought this set because it has a variety of sizes to store food and leftover meals. Food stays fresh without any smells. I love that I can heat things up in the microwave and the oven. They are dishwasher safe. I love them and highly recommend the quality!

VERY FRAGILE!Wish I had paid more attention to that review regarding how fragile these were. I opened the box and then started sliding the inner contents onto my kitchen counter. When the item came out of the box, STILL IN THE INNER PACKAGING, 2 of the containers edges hit the counter and shattered!! Very disappointed. The appearance of the product is nice but the lids are difficult to put on. That may change with use...

Breaks easily!I had such high hopes for this storage set. I bought this less than a week ago and the very first time I used them, it cracked. Whatever 'thermal shock-proof borosilicate glass' is, its not working. This was food prep - I wasn't taking it to the freezer to the oven - it cracked on my countertop. I gave 1 star for the lid, which has great grip and the other star for its overall appearance. I'm so disappointed in this product.

Too smallOf course I was aware of the sizes of the bowls from the product information but it was only when I had them in my kitchen did I realize we'll I don't know what I was thinking. I have no idea what I'll be using it for, and the big one has been too small to hold all of the dinner leftover. The sizes are too small for us, wish I got something bigger.
I have limited cabinet space, will these containers nest into themselves neatly? Or do they have to be stored individually?

Do the hinges on these weaken and split over time?
We currently have some Pyrex containers with snap-on lids similar to these. Many of the hinges have begun to break off. I'm curious if these would be a better replacement or if they're susceptible to the same problems.
