Yes you can reuse the rubber seals for canning. According to Weck German web site you can reuse the seals as long as they aren’t cracked, ripped, or to stretched. Approximately 10+ use for each. It’s basically the same way you use the tattler reusable canning lid seals.

What is the interior diameter of the base ?

The interior of our 9.8 oz. Weck Sturz Jar measures 2" in diameter at the base and 2-3/4" in diameter at the top; the interior is 3-1/4" in height.
The interior of our 19.6 oz. Weck Sturz Jar measures 2-3/4" in diameter at the base and 3-9/16" in diameter at the top; the interior is 4-1/4" in height.

Yes, they can be used in the freezer. Be sure to leave about 3/4 of space for the food to expand or the jar will crack.

Yes, with the lid, seal and clips removed, our Weck Canning Jars are microwave-safe.
