Coffee StorageI have been looking for the perfect container for my coffee for a long time and finally found these. They store an entire bag of my coffee and even came with a coffee scoop that attaches to the inside of the lid. 10/10 would recommend.

It really does keep coffee fresh!We love this airtight container! We are coffee snobs and we're super excited to find this product in store. We used to grid our coffee everyday so it would be fresh but now we are able to grind a whole bag at a time. We keep it in the ProKeeper and it stays just as fresh as the day we ground it.
I highly recommend this ProKeeper for anyone who drinks coffee or tea!

Keeps the coffee freshThis smoke colored container keeps the coffee fresh because it seals tight. Even though the container is smoked, you can still see the level of coffee in the container at a glance. You know when it is time to buy more.

The Coffee ContainerI like it a lot! It's a bit tough to open, but I could just be weak. Anyway, it's a great container and it gets the job done. So much better than using a paper bag to store my coffee beans.

Missing one important featureI really like that the product has a good seal to keep it airtight and the color to keep the light out. But, I would have liked to see maybe an opening in the top which would allow you to pour the coffee beans into the coffee mill. My husband complains every time he makes coffee that he doesn't want to have to use a spoon or scoop with this product.
Regarding the prokeeper Coffee, can it be stored in the freezer

Coffee should never be stored in the freezer as moisture is one of the things that degrades coffee. It should be kept in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight, which is why a tinted or opaque container like this one is preferable.
Light, air, and moisture are the three enemies of coffee beans or ground coffee, so please don't store your coffee in the fridge or freezer!

I have only used coffee beans and there is plenty of room for 1 lb. I'm sure it would hold .5 lbs. more with no problem.
