Saves sooo much spaceMy mom gave this too me. I thought I was going to hate it. But I love it. It saved soooo much space. It also holds a lot of utensils.
I have 17 Teaspoons, 14 butter knives, 15 forks, and 4 tablespoons. Don't ask, and no they don't match. LOL but it holds EVERYTHING!
My only complaint is the handles sometimes catch on the counter making the drawer not open (probably because I have so many freaking pieces) and it takes a while to get used to the layout. Teaspoons, knives, forks, then table spoons. I wish I could switch the knives and forks. I tried, but the fork slot isn't deep enough for the knives.

Small space... not a problem!This organizer is FAB! We have narrow drawers and larger silverware, service for 8 Utilizing two of these, not only were we able to fit and organize our silverware, there's now space for the serving pieces in the same drawer! Fabulous form and function combination!

Be careful of your drawer heightThis product is amazing for small apartment living. Our drawer isn’t tall enough and the flatware has been a nightmare because when we shut the drawer if they are not perfectly lined up, they make the drawer get stuck. That is not the product’s fault. We just have a shallow drawer.

OMGHaving a small drawer for silverware is a challenge when you have heavyweight stainless and a set of 12 each piece. this solved my delemma and did it with style and function. highly recommend this ( had to get two to accommodate all my pieces but they fit nicely )

Takes some time to get used to itThe transition was a bit frustrating, grabbing and spoon when all you need is a knife. But if you have limited space, this guy is awesome... once you’re used to the set up. There are little pictures to the right to guide you on what is where

Awesome if you don't have a lotI got this and loved it until I tried to put ALL my silverware in it. My silverware set has 24 forks (12 salad, 12 dinner) and this could only fit half. I could have split my set but decided I didn't want to. I ended up returning this but I really wanted it to work because it saves so much room!

Almost fit....I love this concept of stackables - but the unit is too short for my silverware, and I could not fit more that 6 items in each slot.

good designThis is a very well designed organizer IF it works with your space and silverware. I bought the larger size. It was too big for my drawer. I would have exchanged it for the single one but it made my silverware look dull. The silverware sits up on an angle so it catches the light and shows all scratches. If I had new silverware I probably would have exchanged it for the smaller one but instead I did return it.

Pretty Good, But Check Your CutleryI am very pleased with the look and the concept of this cutlery organizer, BUT (and a big but) it will not fit all types of cutlery. If your silverware has wide handles or is particularly curved like ours, you will be limited on how many items will fit into this organizer. The vertical clearance in the slots is very low and stacking items wont work very well. I do not think it will hold a full 12 place setting that is any larger than plastic utensils. That said, the rubber feet are effective at holding the organizer in place, it does free up a lot of space in the drawer with it's stacked design, and quite frankly it looks good in the drawer. The handles of my cutlery cover the labelling icons on the slots, but when you can see them the labels look sharp as well.

Added so much space!My kitchen only has 2 drawers so a regular utensil tray filled most of one. By swapping with the narrow one, I have so much extra space in that drawer!

Great concept, but didn't work for us.Our cutlery set serves 12 and the handles are wide at the tip so I ordered two organizers in order for the entire set to fit. Using the organizers took up more space than our old wooden cutlery tray. Also, you could only see the cutlery handles, so it was not easy to tell whether you were looking at a fork, spoon, knife, etc. There were no markings on the organizer tray, only a guide in the instructions telling you where to place each type of cutlery. It didn't look like you had a choice and it wasn't organized in a way that I would use it. It's a great concept and I tried to make it work. but I ended up returning both organizers.

Small kitchen organizing.I have a small kitchen and I loved this organizer so much I got a second one. I have more room in my drawer and more of the utensils in the drawer are easier to just reach in and pull out what I want. It is sturdy and well made.

Why did it take this long?I have to admit this is the item my kitchen drawers have needed for years! Only the genuses at Joseph Joseph could read my mind and create something so simple & brilliant! It fits perfectly in my old cupboards so I know it would fit in the newer more spacious ones.

What a space saver!I absolutely love how this helps organize my silverware! I have so much more room in my drawer for other frequently used utensils. My only complaint is the height of the item. My silverware handles are round, not flat and I have 12 pieces of each item. Unfortunately I am only able to store 8 of the longer utensils (knives, dinner forks and big spoons) in each compartment because they are too tall to fit in the drawer with a second row of handles. (I am currently storing the extra 4 of each in a separate space in the drawer so they are still easily available. I’ll live...) Otherwise, once you get used to which item is in which compartment, you will love this space saver! (You cannot see any part but the handle and although there are icons to help you for each compartment. We had to place our items in a different order because of the height) Clever way to use wasted space!!!

Space SaverThis ingenious flatware tray has made a big difference in my utensil drawer. I had limited drawer space for utensils, and this tray gave me easily six more inches for non-flatware items. I opted for the utensil tray with the extra bins to store the odd-shaped items, and I also had enough extra space to add the Joseph Joseph drawer knife holder to match. Highly recommended.
How deep is the organizer when the utensils are in it? Will it fit in a normal kitchen drawer?

No. It did not fit in my drawer once I filled it with silverware. This is pretty normal pattern silverware - not oversize or non standar.
