Quality in form and functionOrganically organised the clear view canisters remind and stimulate me to make good meal and snack choices day in and out. The sealed tops keep my washed and prepped produce fresh for weeks. I have all three sizes and both polished nickel and glass tops. After two years of cold and dry use and dishwasher cleaning they show little ware. Time

My pantry is gorgeous!These canisters are fairly priced and high quality. The glass is thick so it won't break. The aluminum top is sleek. The seal works well and doesn't pop off like other jars. I added labels on everything and now I have my dream pantry!
In response to other reviews: use these products for dry ingredients at a room temperature only to avoid corrosion or liquids expanding in the freezer. It's a multi functional jar, but not THAT multi functional!

These look great on my counter!I purchased these canisters in the two smaller sizes, and couldn't be happier. I store grains and smoothie boosters in them, and they look great on my counter. I lined up three medium sized ones behind three small ones, and it really cleans up the look of my counter. I taped the directions for preparing the items I put in the containers on the underside of the lids so I don't have any reason to keep the boxes in which the foods came. These are perfect! The lids hold tight and everything stays fresh.

Great for dry goods storage!I bought these for crackers, pasta, oatmeal, etc. and while I can't yet attest to the pasta and oatmeal, they kept my crackers really fresh, much longer than in the bag - even though I was pretty good about trying to squeeze all the air out of the bag before sealing. I wasn't expecting them to be so much better! Planning on getting more.
The only thing to be careful of is that if they're tapped sharply on the corner in just the right way they can break - although maybe that was just a defective one? The others seem to be pretty sturdy but I've been pretty careful too.

like the square shapeBest thing is the square shape and how well they fit together on the counter - maximum use of the space. Sizing is good too, my only hesitation is I'm not sure how tight they are sealed, the tops are pretty easy to pull off, although they have a big rubber seal. We'll see, so far everything has stayed crisp. One arrived broken and Container Store immediately shipped out another - great customer service.

Best glass canisters - EVER!I bought all three of the glass and brushed aluminum canisters. They are fantastic and the lids stay on tight. I then bought 3 more smaller ones to house dry goods in the cabinets, such as brown sugar, dried fruit, etc. Everything stays fresh. They stack well and are easy for the kids to get to. Love them!

Very functional and space savingI purchased all three sizes but I found the smallest size to be the most functional in my kitchen. I am sorry I purchased round glass cannisters previously, these make so much sense and are stackable. My only misgiving is that the lids are not easy to take off, but that won't stop me from ordering 10 more.

Great for Homemade GiftsI purchased the 1 qt container to pack bite size brownies I made for a friend's birthday. There was enough room for three layers of 3-4 brownies each (divided by wax paper). It made a simple yet pretty presentation and she now has a container she can reuse for her own needs. I plan to purchase more for home to store bulk food items. A good price for a quality product!

Great canisters!I love these canisters! They are perfect for my kitchen counter. The clear glass enables me to see what's in there without having to lift lids. And the square design is easy to hold and conserves space. The small size easily holds a 1 lb bag of beans, rice or lentils. The lids fit snugly, especially after running the jars through the dishwasher. And they stack nicely, too! I got several of each size; now I need to go back and get more of the small ones, as I keep finding more things to put in them.

Love this product!I have been looking for canisters for my new home and these fit the bill completely. Not only are they made in the USA but they look great on the countertop. The clear glass helps to remind my family to choose healthy snacks like nuts and raisins. The lids fit well, especially after they have been washed the 1st time. I'm planning to buy more soon!

Great pantry productI bought 3 and I am going to buy more. They look great, seal well, and are easy to clean. If you take them apart for cleaning, make sure you put the silicone seal back in the lid the right way (not upside down!) so they seal well. I will order the clear pouches to store labels on the outside of the canister, and they will be perfect for the panty.

I recently purchased these containers and I love the look of them! But I was washing each component, so I removed the silicone part to wash it and now I find that the lid isn't shutting like it did. Was I not supposed to remove this part to wash?

Yes, the silicone can be removed for washing. Please make sure it is placed back on correctly. For example, make sure the silicone ridge that sticks out more is on top. Thank you for your question. We hope this helps.
