Rated 2 out of 5Â by Sirtriz Didn't work
I bought this because it seemed much simpler than the other sink organizers -- I just wanted something to put a sponge and dish brush in. However, the bracket wasn't wide enough to fit over my double sink divider. Now that I'm online writing a review, I see that others had problems with rusting. I guess I'll look around my house to see if I can re-purpose it, otherwise I'll have to return it sometime when it is convenient to get back to the Container Store, since they aren't particularly close to my house.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by SoxFan nice idea but needs to be rust-proof
We loved this until it started rusting and looking awful after a short time. Pros - it is roomy enough to hold both a full sized sponge and the soap-filled dish wand. It fits nicely and securely over the sink without fussing with any aggravating suction cups that slide around. I would love to buy the exact same product but in rust proof material. We also didn't "put it in the dishwasher," we don't even own a dishwasher.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by TexasHomemaker Double Sink Basket
I bought this basket to hold all the pot scrubbers. I have an old sink and I thought it would fit over the middle section. It doesn't. We are using it hung over our plastic dish rack. I got all those wire things and sponges up off the edge of my sink!!!

Looking at the picture, this is exactly what I use this basket for...unfortunately one would have to have thick flatware with a paddle-like end to keep it from slipping between the wires at the corners. This is EXACTLY what I didn't expect to have happen! There needs to be a couple more horizontal wires wrapped around towards the bottom so that slender utensils and flatware don't slip through. It looks good, but it's very annoying. I won't buy this again.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by ABLake Rusts and price too high
It's been 6 mos since I purchased this. The bottom has already rusted and the coating has cracks. I would have preferred for this to have been made in stainless steel instead of cheap metal coated in white. The coating will eventually crack as the metal rusts.
Additionally, this same model of sink basket is available at other stores for > 50% less than the selling price here.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by alexandra76 cool little device!
Keeps my scrubbie brush off the counter and nice and dry! It's small, so you cannot get too ambitious with it. Can't stuff a sponge AND my brush in there, for example.

Everything fits in it! And drains and dries! I even hang a fingernail brush from it. Have had one over 5 years with no rust problem - what are others doing - sending it thru a dishwasher? With other bad reviews, I'm buying several to use as gifts & for reserve - in case they discontinue the product because of you!

Not up to the Container Store standards I have come to expect.
Like the other posters, I found this basket was great while it lasted, but too quickly the plastic in the bottom (inside and out) cracked and the basket rusted. Has to be tossed.

I agree that it's very handy, but my rusted too - in a short period of time. I was thinking about looking for this same kind of product but in another material.

My basket has rusted. I will look for another option amongst your products to hold my sponges and scouring pad

Rated 3 out of 5Â by skirk94 Best Idea, but Bad Materials
I wish this double sink basket came in stainless or chrome. The fact that it is wrapped with a white plastic coating makes it a three star product. I purchased it to keep brushes and sponges near the sink. It helped keep the sponges dried out and the brushes handy, however over time it did begin to rust. The plastic coating on it cracked on the bottom and on the sides. The metal underneath began to rust and eventually had to be tossed. Again, this is a great idea, but the coating is not good for the product.
