Clips BrokeBought this over Christmas and loved the new organization of my pots and pans. Unfortunately after about 6 months of use the little connector tips have started to slowly break one by one. I tried emailing customer service to see if they had any replacements but got no response. Super disappointed for the time and effort required to drill these into our cabinets.

Another Great Lynk ProductNeeded a pullout organizer to fit in a very nice space. Not only was this the exact size I needed, it's built well, designed well and was easy to install. Instructions were great, too. Very thoughtful product. Have used other Lynk slide out products and this one lives up to make experience with the others.

Should have paid attention to the reviews!But I didn't, and suffered the consequences. Just returned for a refund after the plastic connectors broke one by one over a 4 - week period. We wouldn't even consider ourselves heavy users, but you take out or put in a pan and the divider breaks off. After the first one went, we thought that maybe we could keep using it; but after the 4th one broke we headed back to the store for a return and refund. On a positive note, they did refund our money.

HUGE disappointmentMy husband and I were so excited to finally have some organization with our pots, pans and cookie sheets.
These were great and I even showed them off a few times. Until the clips broke. Such a huge disappointment and waste of money!

Snap snap snapI purchased this for my wife and she loved it until all the clips started snapping off broken. Why would they use something so flimsy to hold up pans, were there no other options? Lynk should be ashamed and send anyone who purchased this some actual good clips so they can salvage this product.

LOVED this .. untilThe clips break if you even look at them. No one uses these except me, and very carefully because one broke right away, so I thought it was me being careless. But not so, I now have three dividers I can't use because the clips are broken. I am so delicate with these after the first break. And they continue to snap.

Great organizer...until the clips break.Buyer beware: we've had ours for a few weeks now, and the clips are breaking left and right. It's a great idea and when it's not broken, works exactly as intended. However, they've really skimped on the quality of the clips themselves which are, you know, the whole piece maintaining the structural integrity of the piece. And it's not even breaking under undue stresses beyond what it was built for: mine has 6 pans (ranging from small to large) and it's doing a nosedive in performance as each successive clip breaks. If the manufacturer could provide a whole new set of clips made out of something that can endure more than a few weeks of normal wear, it'd be totally salvageable.

Clips break too easilyI didn't see any negative reviews when i purchased this product, and i'm not sure i would've believed them because normally Lynk quality is so good! Unfortunately, the black clips that secure the holders are too weak - not sturdy enough to hold a standard 8 or 10 inch frying pan and lids. After a few months of use, i noticed one of the clips broke. I didn't think anything of it, so i rearranged the holders and went about my day. A few weeks later another clip broke. as of now, I've had this product for exactly 5 months and have lost 5 clips. I've requested guidance from Container Store on how to go about a refund/return, because this solution is not reliable.

Let me down just like my DadMy wife and I had a mission. We vowed to take back the space our pans took from us in the kitchen. After researching possible solutions we came across this item and knew we had finally found a viable solution. That weekend we went to our local store found them and pulled the trigger and purchased. The install was fairly easy. Got it installed in about 20 mins. Placing the dividers on was by far the most difficult part of the process as you have to force them on to the rails. Had them all adjusted for our pans and wrapped up. I was so impressed by the amount of space we saved doing this. Fast forward 2 months and a clip was broken. It had simply given up, just like my dad. I was frustrated, hurt, betrayed. I trusted it to help me, not make my life more stressful. I couldn't accept that this was a failure on the product. Surely my wife was in a rush and broke it and just forgot to tell me or didn't realize. I made adjustments on the dividers placed the pans back in and moved on with my life thinking of all the reasons we couldn't have nice things... Skip to today.. as I was getting prepared to cook I opened the cabinet and saw it. Another divider broken, my pans leaning on one another for the support they needed reminding me of the days my siblings supported each other after my Dad left. All in all these things just aren't dependable, just like my Dad.

Plastic connectors breakSee picture for the state of this product after two months of use. All but two of the dividers have broken plastic joints. It is now worse than having no organizer at all.

Good until it wasn'tBought and installed several of the Lynk brand pull-out organizers and most have serviced well. This lid organizer broke recently after about a year in occasional use. The plastic connector broke and makes the organizer unusable. I am so disappointed since this means probably a uninstall and re-install with a better model. Ugh!

Loved everything about it except.....I love everything about this product except for one thing - the crappy plastic joints that allow you to adjust the size of the slots. I've had 4 now out of my two racks break. Now my pots and pans flop around on the rack.

Right idea, poor executionWe installed this organizer and have stored 4 pots and their lids. The organization was nice, but the product has broken- and continued to fail us as time goes on. The dividers that hold the pots and lids in place are installed and secured with a plastic piece that just does not hold up. We have had many break and are down to a point where we can no longer use the item. We purchased in store, and I wish I had seen the similar reviews here online before making our in store purchase. Lesson learned. Don’t make our same mistake! Look for a greater alternative.

Love the concept, but broke within 2 weeksI love this, but the back holder broke within 2 weeks and now it doesn't hold pans very well on that side. I still use it, it holds all my frying pans and it's great to pull out and get what I need. I just wish it would have held up. I don't have my receipt or box anymore so I'm not sure they will do anything for me.

Do not purchaseWe bought this item in store so didn't see the negative reviews online. Like many of them said, the plastic clips that were suppose to hold the dividers in place breaks within weeks of use. If there is any type of pressure, they will break sooner or later.
The plastic quality is SUPER low and returning the set means leaving holes in my perfectly new cabinets. Worst purchase from Container store ever.

Dividers not strong enoughWe have had this installed for a little over a month and a few of the dividers are already broken. The plastic pieces that keep the dividers in place are extremely brittle. Tried to order replacement parts online but the manufacturers website is extremely barebones and I don’t want to pay $70 for a whole new unit. Very disappointed!

So bummedAfter many years of trying to find the best solution for our pots and pans I finally talked my husband into reorganizing two of our kitchen cabinets. I really thought these cookware organizers would be great. I was tired of my pots and pans being stacked on top of one another and and in front of each other. I was tired of the hassles of having to pull pot and pans off the current shelves onto the floor to get to the pans I needed. These organizers seemed to be the perfect solution.
I loved the fact that they were a slide out and that they were mounted to the bottom of the cabinets rather than the sides. I was so happy with how my my organization project turned out until all the plastic dividers between the pans started to break a week after bought them. I was able to return the first broken dividers in store for new ones. All was great again until a month later when the dividers from the second holder began to break.
Although my other pan holder seems to be doing fine at the moment I am not sure if the exchanged parts from the other organizer will break at any moment. Half of my pans are now, once again, stacked on top of one another. I will probably have to return the entire item leaving holes from the screw in my cabinets unless The Container store and the manufacturer have found a fix for this divider issue. I am really hoping this issue can be resolved so I keep these organizers and love them.
Is this coated with anything that will keep it from scratching fragile pans?

How many kitchen items does it hold?

I believe this product holds up to six pans or six lids depending on the grip of your lid. If you stack pans inside one another you can fit more. We did this and were able to fit seven pots and pans. It all depends on the depth of each of your pans.

How much weight can it hold?

I would not recommend for large pans. The divider clamps are fragile and broke with larger pans. Seemed to be more of a size issue than weight in my situation. However after my experience, I would say that a heavy pan like a cast iron skillet would break the clamps immediately.

have you replaced the plastic dividers?
I've read way too many reviews that have expressed about the horrible quality of the plastic adjusters on the cookware organizer. If I buy one now a year after all the complaints started, have you replaced them with better ones on the standard models?? I would feel more at ease buy an updated model.
