Still organizing at 76 yrs old..I bought these for my food pantry. You can see at a glance what is in each container. They are perfect for boxes of pasta, rice, microwave popcorn, and anything I want to keep upright. Just pull out the container and take what is needed. In fact I’m going back to pick up more, I really like them. I’m going to put boxed crackers in another one.

Larger than labeledI bought these bins to fit in a small spice cabinet that is just over 9 inches wide. These were labeled 9 inches, but didn’t fit. I returned it and bought two 8 inch lazy susans.

Mesh baskets not quite as charming as in photosThese mesh baskets are, on the whole, nice. I like that they have square walls that do not lean outward, unlike other similar products. This makes them easy to line up neatly side by side. However, to my surprise, when I put them on the pantry shelves I found they made the organized items look a little bit like a prison, with all the wire everywhere.

Container store is the 'solutions' store...Prepare to shop there by first taking measure-ments of your shelving area needs. I also recommend taking a tape measure with you since not all product dimensions are marked. It is a wonderful experience to build better utility and purpose in home keeping. This store has it all. The bins I purchased were perfect for my application.

fits right inI chose this container to hold my onions - it looks like it was especially made for my space that I chose in my kitchen. It is great when something like this container looks like it is custom made.
Would crayons or pencils fall through these holes?
I am interested in using these baskets for kids art supplies, but I am concerned that the holes are too big. Would crayons or colored pencils fall through these holes?

Are these containers rust proof?

Our Omaha Steel Mesh Stackable Bins are constructed from steel wire mesh with an epoxy coating. They are not rust resistant and we do not recommend washing them or using them in wet environments. To clean, use a soft, clean cloth and dry any excess moisture immediately.
