Attractive wagonover all this is a great little wagon, perfect size. and the finish is attractive and neutral. small with a sturdy frame. I would have given this 5 starts but the right wheel keeps popping off if your not mindful on making sharp turns. i cant seem to get it to stay on, maybe its stripped? I've only used if for about 6 months.

Pop goes the wheels.I should have read more of the reviews, because the wheels are designed very poorly. Every shopping trip at some point, a wheel will just fly off without warning. The cart tips over and create a huge embarrassing scene spilling groceries on the germ infested floor.
I picked the product from container store because I could not risk a bad product with the pandemic. Container store really let me down, and now stuck with a scary, unreliable product. And of course they are not taking returns during this unless you pay 20 bucks to ship back to them.. I recommend you don't risk you money on this product, it really can't be trusted.

Major design flaw: the wheels fall offI love the fact that it's lightweight, but in my case, the wheels wobble and fall off. Looking at other comments on this site, it seems others have had the same experience, but many have not. In general, I love the Container Store.

Beautiful, but UselessThis cart is absolutely beautiful. It's large, has a great padded handlebar, and you can buy a perfectly fitted liner to keep smaller things together or protect your cargo from the elements.
Unfortunately, it's made absolutely useless by having all 4 wheels fixed in one direction. I can't maneuver this thing from my car to my apartment without having to physically lift it up and manually place it in the direction I need to go at every turn.
There's also a wheel lock on this cart, but it doesn't fully brake as you might expect. The wheels will still move, they just won't make a full rotation while engaged. Not a dealbreaker for me, but might be an issue if you ever need to load, unload, or otherwise stop the cart at an angle.
TL;DR: You'll love this cart if you have a completely straight shot between flat locations. If you need to pass any corners, or stop on any sort of incline, I recommend looking for another cart. I personally would return this if The Container Store would let me.

looks great but wheels don't swivel!can you imagine going grocery shopping and the shopping carts they provide don't turn? well this is how this cart feels. look closely at the photos - the front wheels don't swivel. you have to physically scrape the floor by forcing the cart to turn. is this how you want to lug your 30 - 40 lb groceries around? who are these people using this cart and not taking corners? because of all these rave reviews i bought this cart and now i'm really angry. i guess it works if you are endlessly going straight.

LOVE My Cart!I originally purchased this cart and the liner (you simply must purchase the liner, it is so worth it) for her shopping ventures in Brooklyn. She had a car sometimes at her disposal, so it was lightly used by the time I took it to London. It has been indispensable here, with weekly trips to the farmer's market (one time in particular in driving rain. The liner with attached top cover was a big plus) and a multitude of other ventures to the laundromat and the antique fair, It is so lightweight, it is easily carried up and down stairs, but sufficiently heavy weighted that it is definitely not flimsy. The only improvement to the design would be 360 degree rotating wheels.

Why didn't I purchase this sooner?I have had my cart since approx.2008 and while it has seen better days in terms of appearance it is still "running!" I added this cart liner and not only does it serve a terrific purpose but it also makes the cart look nice! Now I can hide my laundry bag inside of the cart liner + nobody needs to know my destination when they see me walking! It is quite smart and stylish; the velcro is placed perfectly on each side and the color is appropriate. Why didn't I get this sooner? If you are purchasing the cart I suggest you purchase the liner as well, poste haste!

Three Wheels Instead of FourI requested sturdier wheels about ten years ago because one always popped off. One time the cart collapsed in traffic on St. Paul's busiest street. It was a pain in the neck to repair. It popped off again recently and again I requested that it been made sturdier.. This cart is ingenious except for that wheel. It seems to me that a good company would address this problem.
If you buy this cart, you need to know how to reattach the bad wheel or have someone to do it.

Not Quite PerfectThe is a great, sturdy cart. It holds two full grocery bags side by side. The problem is that the left front wheel keeps falling off. So far I was able to put it back on, but if it rolls out of sight, the cart will be useless.

NEEDS BETTER WHEELSI purchased this in store, after a different one I had for 10 years finally broke. I had gotten that one at container store. I was disappointed to see it was no longer made. It was more like the 2 wheel carts but the bag was not removable & was solidly stuck to platform. anyhow, I decided to get this aluminum cart, which is not as agile. If you are going straight, no problem, BUT if you are turning in any way, this thing won't turn easily. It's a problem..they should have put more thought into this & given it swivel wheels that can rotate in any direction. This goes for all their shopping carts.

Great for anyone 5'3" or under.Sturdy little cart, but I'm giving mine away to a petite relative. This cart is wide with a narrow base and a very short handle.
I used it once,today, and found that at my not-very-great- height of 5'7", if I pushed, I had to watch my step. As I was bent forward to reach the handle, my feet were much too close to the base and I was constantly shortening my steps to push this little gem. If I pulled it, the short handle kept it at my side rather than behind me, so again, it was a nuisance to me and anyone attempting to walk next to me.

love this cart but one wheel falls offI purchased this cart in May in order to carry grocery items from my car and to carry food to the grills for cookouts from my apartment. It is terrific except for one problem. When the items are heavy, the left rear wheel falls off. I would love advice on how to repair it or wonder if it could be replaced.

Wheels and Screws fall offI purchased this for my elderly parents a few months ago. They just recently showed me the cart and the wheel and screws that hold it upright fell off (unable to fix). They admitted that this was happening since the first week they got (1-2 short and light grocery trips). I wish I knew sooner as I would have returned immediately. I now purchased the other cart from container store and I'm cautious as to having the same issues. I hope not. I'm a fan of Container Store which is why I'm giving another shopping cart a chance.

Versatile, stronger, lightweight, large capacityI live in Brooklyn, NY and don't own a car (typical for NYC). This cart has been my "car trunk" for several years. I use it to go to the grocery store when I am doing a big shopping, and use it every other week to take my laundry to the laundry mat. It's the best cart I have ever had for these purposes, and I have owned many carts over the years! Also, the wheels are a modest size so when stored it takes up less room in my closet than other carts I have owned.

Torn!Why do the wheels on this not spin?! Being aluminum, it's so lightweight and wonderful. This should spin like a rolling suitcase. We've come too far for this design spec to be overlooked. If you put a large case of water in this cart and try to turn it, it's a hassle! I am torn because the only comparable cart that does have spinning wheels is steel and heavy! So I feel like I have to choose between the inconvenience of no spinning wheels or heaviness. Ugh!

Light weight & sturdy cartWe recently purchased 4 of these carts to use in transporting class materials from location to location. We searched the internet pretty extensively to find a strong but light weight cart that was big enough to hold what was necessary. The wheels are big and don't wobble and the cart opens easily. So far these carts are perfect!
We haven't had them long enough to vouch for their durability but they seem well made.

Simply the bestAfter years in NYC with cheap dollar store metal carts, I finally splurged -- and I am so glad I did! It has brakes! It is so easy to carry when full up and down stairs, the handle is comfortable, and it fits so much! Honestly this is one if the best purchase I've ever made.

Ravinia here we come!I bought this for my husband for Christmas, along with the liner, 2 soccer chairs, and the portable table from another vendor. Everything fits in well. We can usually fit in a wine cooler because it's vertical. It rolls well down the path from the car to the lawn.
