I have one on almost every doorThis hook works great and blends in with white doors. However, the hook tip has sharp edges, so I wouldn't hang more delicate items directly on the hook.

Good for use on thick doors!I usually have trouble finding hooks and accessories for my thick doors. The 'commercial' end of this hook fits perfectly. The downside is that the metal used is a bit bulky and I have to close the door slowly to avoid scraping the frame. But given how difficult it is to find anything that fits my doors, it still gets a 4-star rating!

How wide is the vertical flat metal & the hooks themselves? (Not the widths of the door(s) it fits.)
I need to know how wide is the flat metal itself, especially the "hook" part itself. I understand it will fit both residential & commercial thickness of doors (which I need), BUT I also need to know if the "hook"(s) ends themselves will fit through the grommets of the item I need to hang on the hooks, which is reisenthel® Fabric Magazine Organizer Kiwi/Khaki, your Item No. 10040637. The open holes at top of the magazine holder, which are grommetted in, is approx. 3/4" width each, so the metal hooks I need should NOT be wider than that where I need to slip the open grommetts over the hooks. (I thought the hooks would come with the mag holder, but they did NOT--they SHOULD have been included.)
