Be Aware Width Is Incorrectly ReportedI feel obligated to mention to my fellow shoppers that the width of this monitor riser is 20" and not the reported dimension of 21-7/8". I have an ergonomic keyboard that will not slide under the riser. However, it would have slid under easily if the website-reported width were correct. I think it's a good product and wish it could have worked out. I urge Container Store to correctly update the dimensions of this product so other customers aren't disappointed like I am.

No Weight IssueI read other reviews about the stand sagging with heavy monitors. That's easily solved! Just purchase 1-2 of the Container Store's acrylic risers that fit perfectly UNDER the shelf and bam! You're holding almost any weight! Note: You may have to turn these small $5.00 risers on their side to fit perfectly beneath the monitor stand. Almost totally invisible!

Organize desk spaceWe have a computer station that houses three desktop, it's a compact area, so the space must be organized in order to be functional. This riser not only made the computer screens more ergonomic but inked out more space at the stations. The riser has modern look and it is crafted with sturdiness.

sadly disappointedI purchased this knowing that my monitor weighs 18 pounds. Upon initially setting it up, it looked great. The next day, however, it began sagging a bit in the center. I have the monitor pushed as far back as I can to reach the support bar at the back, but it hasn't helped the issue. It looks sad.

Sags under heavy monitorI have a large iMac (similar to the one shown in the catalog photo) and this would have been perfect - except it immediately sags under the weight of the computer. Unfortunate. Looking for another use for the riser.
