Great for hanging telescoping ladders!I have a large telescoping ladder and used to hang it from some scary contraption in the ceiling, but with the purchase of this hook, I was able to hang it on the side wall of the garage where is is out of the way, but still easily accessible. It is sturdy, and securely hold the ladder in place so I have no fear of it falling.

Keeps ladders up and out of the wayI have 12 ft ceilings so I need a tall ladder. It was taking up a lot of room in my garage because I had to lean it at an angle. The Container Store staff helped me figure out that I could use two hooks and hang the ladder horizontally and low enough that I could reach it. Now that ladder is stored along the wall of the garage and I am able to pull a second car into the garage.

Great LARGE hookThis hook is awesome. I have Elfa in my laundry room and I attached this directly to my wall using wall anchors. Three folding drying racks are easily stored on the two non-slip "arms" of the hook. Well made, unique product.

Can you use this to hang a larger stroller (not umbrella), like a Bugaboo Donkey or Uppa Baby Vista? About 20-30lbs.

What is the depth of the hook?
I have a 3-section compact extension ladder that is about 8-9" deep when it is collapsed. Can this ladder hook accommodate a ladder of this depth? Thank you.

The Wide Ladder Hook measures 8" from front to back as the outermost measurement, this would not fit a ladder that is 8"-9" in depth when collapsed.

Looking at these for Nerf Gun storage for a door elfa system. Will the ladder hook fit on the utility board?

No. The fittings are completely different. I would use the elfa baskets on a standard to hold the Nerf supplies. Or if you already have a utility board, check out the Board Hook Long size.

Stephanie and her family (husband John and kids Allie and John) are fortunate enough to have a sizable Houston basement- nearly 2000 square feet!
