Easy to install and keeps tools off the floorsWe purchased the 5-Stick broom holder.
The items we wanted to store, meant that this product needed to be installed on a stud. It was easy to install and very effective for our use. It takes up very little room, easy to access and keeps tools off the floors.

Great Holder! We have the Mop and Broom Holder and it works great! We use it for our broom, mop, and other cleaning items. It is sturdy and holds the handles well. We installed it on our wall in the utility room. We had a few inches between the dryer and the wall, so it is a perfect place and keeps everything up off of the floor.

Great broom organizer!Although I have three brooms, I got the large holder (5 slots) because I wanted to allow room for a dust pan to be attached to one of the brooms-- I'm glad I did this because I think the three-slot holder would have been too crowded with three brooms AND a dust pan. I chose this style because it looked like it was the easiest and fastest to remove and replace the brooms. It works perfectly-- the brooms slide in and out easily, and they stay in place. The brooms all have diameters between 3/4" and 1" and it works great for all three-- I've had it up for about a month, and so far, they don't slide down (as a previous reviewer complained). Looks like whatever you want to hang up would have to have a diameter between 5/8" (or maybe 3/4") and 1-1/2". The large holder has FIVE screws holes to attach it to the wall. Because the wall I wanted to attach this to is brick, I didn't want five holes in the masonry, so I made a wood base for it and attached the base to the wall with only two screws. So far, no problems. This is exactly what I was looking for and it's super-easy to use and install.

Great ProductI purchased this to go in my hall coat closet to hang up the brooms and mops. However it is a tad too long for the space so I will have to return it for the three slot one but just testing it out with what I will be using it for I think it will be great and I won't have to worry about the broom falling off of its hook.

Out of sight, out of my hair!I have had a similar rack for years holding my various cleaning tools, but things would periodically fall, and I finally had more mops/brooms etc. than it could hold. So I set out looking for another one, and purchased the large one at the store. My teenage son installed it, without complaint, so I'm guessing it wasn't difficult! Since I already had the first rack hanging in the utility room, the only other place for the new one was behind the door, and it works that way! I was worried that it might not be shallow enough to fit behind the door and hold tools, too, but it's working great so far. Now all my cleaning tools are out of the way, and off the floor.

Worked well at firstI bought the bigger of the two to hang up brooms, swiffer handles, mops, etc. It worked well at first. Even though it was installed at an angle to promote the rolling parts to angle down, many of the rollers ended being stuck in the up position, so that it would not hold anything. So after a few months it was really unusable. I finally took it off the wall and still could not get the rollers to roll down. If it worked like it said it would it would have been fabulous but sadly it didn't.

Totally SatisfiedI've recommended this product for years as a great way to keep all the brooms, mops, etc off the garage floor. I've had them in all of my last three homes and have never had that big of an issue with installation. You do need an extenstion on your drill bit from what I remember as the screws are recessed, but if you have a drill you probably have an extension as well. I've never had the hardware pull out or the product fail. It's not going to transform you life or work magic, but I've always found it does what it is designed to do. I am totally satisfied with the product.

Not heavy duty enough for garage toolsI mounted this organizer in the garage, but the tension balls often get stuck and do not hold tools securely.

Get your own mounting hardwareOverall, I'm very happy with the tool holders -- now that they're up. But the mounting hardware is some pretty cheap stuff, which fell apart while I was trying to mount the holder to the wall. Save yourself some time. Go out and buy your own mounting hardware before you get started on the installation. You'll save yourself a lot of time.
The dimensions of the 3-Stick Holder are 11-1/4" width x 3-1/4" length x 2-3/4" height and the dimensions of the 5-Stick Holder are 17-3/4" width x 3-1/4" length x 2-3/4" height.

How much weight can this hold?
Asked by: lpryan
There is no specified weight capacity for the Handled Tool Holders. It is designed to hold mops and brooms in the utility area to rakes and shovels in the garage. Hope this helps!

Can this be mounted with 3M adhesive rather than screws?
I'd like to use this on the back of a door and would prefer not to have to make any holes. I was thinking if it didn't have to hold too much weight it might work using 3M picture hanging strips or something similar. Has anyone tried that?
Asked by: mandalyn74
No. The weight of the rack and the brooms would probably pull the rack loose.
