will this work for scooters?

I have both two wheel and 3-wheel kick scooters, with similarly sized deck to a small skateboard. Would this rack work for that? Or would a scooter not balance properly on this rack, since it is heavier on one side? Or not fit properly onto the rack, having a slightly different shape than a skateboard?

Yes, if the scooter is stored upside down. Nothing clips in or secures the board, it just sits on the rubberized arms like a shelf. So you can widen the spacing of the arms and/or position the deck further to one side to achieve balance.
