Can you mount this on the ceiling?
I would like to mount this on the ceiling facing downwards, as opposed to on a wall, but am afraid it might not be built strong enough to support the constant weight of the ball in that position.

Dimensions
Will this ball claw really work on regulation size basketballs? And soccer balls? They are definitely different in size. Other sites are listing the measurements for a "basketball" claw as 9'' X 7'' X 8.25'' which is a bit different than the measurements listed here (8'' X 6.5'' X 8'').
