Love, love, loveI use these everyday and love, love, love them! They are easy to write on and to erase but don't smear or smudge once written. Very versatile and durable. I've had mine for several years and use them on everything from the fridge to the filing cabinet, even metal mesh bins. Would definitely recommend!

Fits the billExactly as described. Magnetic erasable labels. The labels do erase cleanly, though after a while the eraser gets a little dirty and leaves flecks of black on the labels. Price seems high for 5 labels.
Yes, they would stick to the Silver Mesh letter tray, however, the difficulty might be finding a surface they could attach to. Since the fine mesh is on the back and the bottom of the letter tray, it might be difficult for the label to hold to the wires on the side or the front as there's just not much surface area. You might be better off using a label holder which "Clips" onto the tray itself.

Do you have to use the marker that comes with it, or could I use a Sharpie?
I like my lettering to be thick, and it would be nice to be able to use a colored marker.
