Is there anyway to mount this to a wall with command strips/hooks? I would like to use it for college.

We do not recommend to use Command strips to wall mount the Bill 6-Hook Wall-Mounted Rack. Alternatively, the 3M Command White Clothes Hanger holds up to 7.5 pounds when applied according to the directions.

How much weight can this hold?

The Hook will hold coats, hats, and assorted bags. Attaching the hook directly to studs will increase the weight it will hold.
