Can these be used to stack drawer frames on top of one another or only side-by-side?

Our Elfa Frame Clips are used to secure Elfa Drawer Frames side-by-side. Elfa Drawer Frames are engineered to stack securely by their design, no additional accessories or hardware is required. The "cross bars" of the unit on the bottom are omitted and the feet of the upper unit secure it in place on the lower unit. How many clips are recommended to connect two 10 runners?

We'd recommend one package of four clips to join the drawer frames: two clips near the top and bottom of the front, and two near the top and bottom of the back.
