Great product but not for the gift wrap stationIf you are using this on a stationary drawer... fine. But if you are using this on the drawers that slide in and out... it won't work. I will be returning this product since it doesn't let the drawers slide in and out when it is installed.

Elfa closetI had the Elfa closet installed about two years ago and love it. I recently purchased the Elfa Mesh Drawer Dividers to add to the existing Mesh Drawers. Didn't originally buy them when I got the closet installed since I didn't know if I would use it. It has now made it easier and neater for me to find my items, since I stuff one drawer with scarfs/ hats/ gloves. Nice addition to the existing closet drawer.

Need Longer Dividers to Use in the Frame Drawers.A super helpful employee helped me get all of the supplies I need for (2) 7-Runner Drawer systems for one on top of the other. She told me there are drawer dividers for the drawers, which was a game changer for me and so I was SOLD on these. She told me they only work with the mesh drawers and not the plastic ones. For that reason, I went with the mesh so I could use the dividers. I got home and got it all put together but couldn't figure out how to get the drawer dividers in. Finally they fit horizontally. It was then that I found out that the drawer won't close with these. It's just a little frustrating, in that the employee told me all about these, including I needed to get the mesh drawers. The bigger bummer is that dividers can't be used with these, because they seriously are awesome. I would love for the solution to be that there are longer dividers and they run front to back so that they CAN be used with the frame drawer system. Now all of my awesome organizing plans have to start over with this Elfa system. Which isn't the end of the world, just a huge bummer.

Kitchen Elfa ONLYThese fit medium drawers horizontally, but don't use them that way, or you're forever fighting them to open/close the drawers. We need a solution to dividing up these drawers, but this one is more than a little annoying.

Read the fine print!!The products themselves are quality, as expected from elfa. However, what wasn't clear to me (an oversight on my end), was that the drawer frames DO NOT work with the divider's hooks, and the divider did not fit the other way, either. I'd purchased a set for a wide 2-runner drawer in a frame - it fit side-to-side (before putting it into the frame), but not front-to-back (falling just short of the length I'd need to make it work). It is disappointing that there aren't similar divider options for the frames. Sadly, I had to return mine.

Love it!!I love these baskets, started out with 2 and went back to store and got another one with the dividers. They really help me keep things organized in my pantry. I want more, but haven't figured out where to put them yet.

Nicely supports my obsessive tendencies ...These dividers are a great addition to the mesh drawers. The installation is simple enough and like others have stated, it is nice to be able to get the divider in place and then slide it from side to side to get it to the right spot. I have at least 5 packs of these dividers in use in our utility closet and I only have one con to report. The bottom of the dividers rather swings in the wind and offers little resistance to keep things from shifting at the bottom of the drawer. So, are they perfect, no. However, I have found them to be a great option overall and will continue to use them in future.

Doesn't stay put and makes it hard to close drawerThese are a great idea, and very sturdily made. I only have one qualm with them: it is not easy to close the drawer into the frame with these installed. They are low profile, but still need a bit of finagling to stay put, especially when there is any sort of weight in the drawer. Inevitably, they move around as you try to close it, and you have to hold them divider in place and move the drawer at a slight angle to get it in. Perhaps a small spike on the bottom of the divider would help it anchor in place in a mesh drawer?

Can the drawer dividers be used with the mesh easy glider drawers?

No... the way that the dividers are installed gets in the way of the slide rails. These can only be used on stationary drawers.

yes you CAN, but I would not recommend it. Depends on the depth of your drawers and what you want to separate. I think probably 2-3 would be the max I'd do myself.

I was able to modify the dividers to work successfully with the drawers that slide into an elfa frame. I cut the clips off on each side and using pipe cleaners I attached to the drawer wires. Works great and looks good. I'm pleased with them. If I want to move the dividers, it'll take a little effort, but looks better than my other attempts to create my own dividers.

These won't fit the wide mesh drawers
I bought several of these not realizing they will NOT fit the wide mesh drawers, of which I have 20 of in my closet. Such a bummer! Will you be making them for the wide drawers in the future?

It states they are for medium 1 and 2 runner sized mesh drawers. The title of the product should be Medium Mesh drawer dividers....it would clear up any misconceptions on universal sizing.

Can these be used in the elfa wire drawers?

YES they absolutely can be used in the elfa wire drawers. I own the wire drawers and (both shallow and medium depth) and the mesh dividers fit PERFECTLY. It is so nice to have my wire drawers divided now. Hopefully they will delete the Container Store associate's incorrect answer, because customers need to know that these are totally compatible.

I got the ones that fit the mesh 2 runners. They fit exactly into those medium drawers. If you have the large one (deepest) or the shallow one (mesh 1 runner) then these won't work. Good luck!
