Do we need the anchors to mounting to a 3/4” thick cabinet?
We would like to mount the standard to the side of our garage cabinets that are 3/4” thick. Do we need anchors since it is not as thick as standard door but thicker than a hollow core door.
Asked by: LindsayR
Our Elfa Easy Hang or Mounted Standards are designed to be hung from or mounted on a wall; we do not recommend hanging them from or mounting them to a cabinet. For further assistance, please contact us at 1-888-CONTAIN (266-8246).

How long are the anchors and screws?
I would like to mount the rack to a cabinet door, and I am not sure if it is thick enough.
Asked by: S1234
These anchors and screws are 1-3/4" long. They are designed to mount an elfa Mounted Standard to a traditional 1-3/8" thick door. The top 1/2" of the plastic anchor is concealed behind the elfa Mounted Standard and does not pierce the door.

Can you use these screws without the anchor if you have a solid wood door?
Asked by: RickyNY
Correct. When going into a solid door, you would use just the screws. If you are going into a hollow core door, you would use the anchors.

What size drill bit would you use for installation with just the screws (solid door)?
I can’t find a 1/10” drill bit as the package would indicate.
Asked by: Lou19
You need to use a Phillips Head screwdriver for the screws. For a solid door, using the anchors is not needed.
