Perfect to organizeI bought two of the narrow 7 frames for desk drawers. They are perfect in my office. I added casters and melamine tops so they could be rolled around as extra desk top space when needed. Now I have a space for my printer to sit so it's not taking up precious desktop space.

I love my Elfa!I have had some of my Elfa for over 30 years. I just keep adding to it. The basic design change with time, but you can add all the new features because the sizes stay consistent and compatable. I have used my Elfa in my under the stairwell storage, garage for tools, in my closets and purchased Elfa systems for my daughter for newborns
clothes, diapers and need to have at hand accessories.
I have my entire art studio fitted with Elfa.

Modest dutyThese are pretty nice, but modest duty. Good for home office or bedroom or light use kitchen. Not appropriate for commercial office, vigorous use kitchen, certainly not for garage.
Casters not sutable to bump over transforms. If you wheel them around all the time, the corner right angle solid pieces holding the verticals will fatigue crack - they are die cast, not forged or steel cast.
But, good enough for lighter duty. After this you need to go to wire frame systems.

Love this product!I combined a 7 runner with a 4 runner to customize a luandry sorter. Added wheels so I could easily move it around the laundry room! Exactly what I was looking for. Very sturdy product and very easy to put together! Going to buy a smaller one for the pantry!

Excellent purchaseI bought this elfa shelf to put in a coat closet in order to convert it to a pantry; our new kitchen didn't have enough cabinet space. This is perfect. I put it together in about 10 minutes with just the soft handle of a hammer. It's well made and sturdy.

Love it!I've now made 4 different Elfa drawer units for my home! (This was my first) I love them! I love the way the drawers glide, I love having casters to make it easy to clean under/behind the cart. I love the fact that they're fairly light, yet feel sturdy. After making my first one, I started looking for places to use another! They're fairly easy to assemble too. I don't have a rubber mallet, but I used a thick rag to cushion my hammer and it did fine.

Versatile and long lasting!I am about to move to a new home using Elfa drawers and rails that I first purchased in 1985. They have moved with me and my family through to what's about to be their eighth location in 30 years and every time there's a spot for them (in a closet, in the attic, as a stand-in dresser — especially if you have the melamine top). They are easy enough for a klutz like me to assemble and disassemble. I can't say enough good things about this product. With its interchangeable sized drawers, the sky's the limit on how you choose to organize your storage.

Drawer FramesI have so many of these I'm embarrassed to say! I've used to accommodate picture albums, sewing supplies, craft supplies, cleaning supplies, loose plumbing and electrical supplies in the tool room. Wonder what my next drawer solution will be!

25 years and going strongI've used these elfa frames and drawers in 6 different houses in the past 25 years, taking them apart for moving and reconfiguring for different needs. The 30" are great for desks or worktables. I have some of the cabinet depth for my kitchen. So much better than digging in the back of shelves! I've cut them down to custom fit them to the space I had.
I was very happy to discover recently that I can order the cross pieces separately from the runner frames. When you've taken them apart and reassembled them as many times as I have, they do get a little beat up.
They may seem a bit expensive, but I have a hard time thinking of something else I have that's been as useful and hard-working as these. They are worth the investment! Btw, I usually wait for them to go on sale in January.

love thisi bought this as a replace for a dresser that would fit in my closet. i absolutely love it. not too difficult to put together,and is completely stable. my clothing fits perfectly in it. i ordered the 22 inch wide one with the mesh drawers at 57inch height. that gave me around 11 drawers (using the customize program to fit my needs) and the mesh allows my clothes to breathe.

Just wonderful!I purchased one of these units for my sewing room. It worked so well, I purchased a second. The only downfall, if you choose to use the insert to the drawers, the corresponding lids will not fit. Minor engineering design flaw, hopefully changed in the future.
I'd purchase these units again. They're great for a variety of uses.

Great for a Lego cart and pantry cartI purchased two of these for storing our growing Lego collection and one for a space in the pantry. They were very easy to put together, are quite sturdy and easy to roll around. I also like that there are options for drawer size and materials.

FramePurchased online the 10 size frame. Fortunately we had seen it at the store and a very helpful client told us all the ins and outs of assembly and what additional items needed to be ordered - ei feet, drawer stops etc. It all went together very easily with a rubber mallet. Good construction, so much better than plastic. It's a keeper.

Happy accidentI accidentally ordered the platinum elfa drawer unit and was surprised to see how nice it looks "in person". This would look good for use in any area! As always, I love the amazing amount of storage in the elfa pieces. Can't imagine any other way to have such a well-organized craft area.

Very VersatileThis unit is perfect for my craft room. The baskets that fit in it allow me to use deep baskets (3 rungs), medium baskets (2 rungs), or small baskets (1 rung). I have 1 deep 2 medium and 3 small mesh baskets in mine. It is very solid also. Love it.

THE BEST ORGANIZATION PRODUCT YOU WILL EVER BUY!My AFTER photo of my daughters playroom!
16 units (two missing tops due to I was overly excited to take photo before finishing!) + desk set. There's even 6 more units behind where I was standing. These are AMAZING! So many ways to set them up, heights, draw sizes, colors, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! SO EASY TO ASSEMBLE my 8 year old did most of the work with my help! Started with 4 just to give you an idea. BEST MONEY EVER SPENT!! I mean, seriously, how much would you pay to have your PLAYROOM this neat all the time!!!
**TIP**: I wanted a seamless flow around the corners of the room so the 2 corner pieces I use an "trunk" type storage as being "corners" there is technically no way to access drawers. What I did is use the deepest drawer to fill from above with toys. Then, instead of using the permanent tape to hold down the top, use two sided 3M velcro so you can pull the top off as needed to access the toys within! I have these all around my home and have done 3 Elfa closets top to bottom so far!! Doing my daughters bedroom over this year, ripping out the closet and doing ALL ELFA!!! It's so addicting!! For those people who have to CONSTANTLY change the look in their homes (as I do!) this is a GREAT product! As a matter of fact, I'm in the process of changing this entire system around now to create a large LEGO city play area...can't wait to upload my photos when it's complete!!

We would recommend combining frames. For example, the wide 10 runner and wide 7 runner can be stacked to conserve on space and make the most of vertical storage options.
