Functional and StylishWe had a limited amount of space for a desk into our new condo but my husband and I wanted a desk big enough to store both of our at-home desk gear. We bought the Driftwood & Platinum elfa Deluxe Home Office and couldn't be happier. We were worried about the difficulty of installation but it was as easy as the Elfa staff described in the store. We particularly liked we could use the wall space up to the celling for storage.

Great easy to use work spaceThis work space is exactly what my family needed. I installed it almost completely by myself with the exception of my husband helping me hold the top rack so I could pencil in the drill wholes. I installed it in our play room off our kitchen so when I am doing dishes, cleaning, etc I can still be close by my kids to instruct them on our home school days. Great versitility so you can customize it to meet your needs. I only used 2/3 of the unit with hopes at using the 1/3 part to install my own work space in another room.

Love, Love, Love it!I still can't believe it - my Elfa system looks great!. The design team did a great job designing my room and all I provided were the measurements. Easy and good qualityI am a professional organizer and I have used ELFA system on many projects including office and closet.
The installation was relatively easy and the web site provide detailed installation how-to videos, too. I love the fact that all the shelves are adjustable and I can design the system to fit every client's needs.
The quality is great and their drawers are so easy to glide. I have no complain about the product although I wish they could be more affordable for more clients to enjoy.

Great find!I was looking for built in bookshelves for a home library. Elfa provided an excellent solution. It is easy, practical and more than functional. The shelves can be adjusted in any manner that suits and provide a beautiful framework for a library leaving attention on the books not the bookshelf.
I used the driftwood and platium options and am very pleased with the elfa solution!

Perfect Office SolutionLOVE LOVE LOVE elfa! I cannot enough good things about elfa. When I ordered elfa shelves for my walk-in closet, I also ordered shelving for my 'tech center'. I sometimes work from home and wanted the dull space spruced up with shelves and this was the PERFECT OFFICE SOLUTION. I will be purchasing more elfa accessories and parts to this space in the future, but for now it's help me get organized. This space is the first thing people see when they walk into my condo and since my elfa was installed, I feel that it has a more polished and finished look!!!

What a Creative SpaceI absolutely love my Elfa Installation! The room was being used as a home office/craft area/closet. I revamp old T-shirts for my Line Dance Family and, unfortunately, my room was a total disaster and not very conducive to creativity! The Design aspects handled in the Container Store were right on point. My designer was courteous, well informed, and fun. The Installers were professional and neat. Honestly, I don’t know how I survived before the renovation and now I never want to leave this room!!

His and HersI bought this system in white and including the file cabinet for the office in my home. To make it completely functional, I bought 2 systems, one for me and one for my other half.
It was fairly easy to install and only took a few hours to put up both systems. I would have preferred to hit more studs than we did in hanging, but fully loaded, they are still holding.
I did receive 2 bad shelves with my order. It took me all of 2 minutes to call in and have a replacement sent. Customer service was excellent.

Way easyThis shelving was way easy to install ourselves! We debated paying CS to do it but in the end we decided to try it ourselves and were pleasantly surprised at the ease of installation. They may not be pleased I'm writing this about installation, but the order was a customized unit for our office and included every single piece we needed for a two wall - 5 shelves on each from corner to corner!

Every childs dream art areaWe designed and put this together ourselves for my step daughter. She loves it and we love it too! It was so easy to do and I love how it gives her her own creative space. We added an art cable so she can hang her art up to dry after she is done being picasso :) It is definately something I wish I had when I was her age.

Elfa Rocks!I have 5 different Elfa sets in my condo. I absolutely love them! None of them were complete "packaged deals" but they have all been excellent storage solutions.. All are fairly simple shelving stacks. Elfa products are SO easy to install and are extremely versatile. All of mine are wood veneer shelves with platinum hardware. They look clean and modern without yet blend without being "furniture." They present the look of built-ins without the permanence or the price. Only negative is that some of them have faded with exposure to sunlight.

My friend wants one too now!Got this design with a few customizations and I'm loving it. It makes my small office appear so much bigger because of the open-ness of the shelving and by having everything off the floor.
I was able to put it all together myself, except I needed a hand with the long and heavyduty top track. The "Easy Hang" really is easy, and the whole system is way stronger than it looks. Sturdy enough that I trust it with my 32" TV!
I would suggest also getting the Standards Wall Clips to secure the wall Hanging Standards to the wall (at the bottom) to help keep everything from swaying side to side (like if you bump into it or something).
I'm loving my workspace!

NiceIt works. It's pretty easy to put up, even if you're just a little lady and your husband is out of town (speaking from experience here). It looks nice sitting against a wall, though I think it looks better in the nook above. Can I order a nook from Container Store, too? But overall, very nice product. I do wish there was a way to cover my large computer tower and numerous cords that just dangle messily out the bottom. It makes the whole set-up look messy. Any ideas?

This is a must have item in your home!I was in the market for a desk with a hutch and a bookshelf to store all the books and arts&crafts items my kids have accumulated from family and friends. I saw the elfa sale and came across this shelving system. This fit the bill even better than the two items I wanted and it even saved me money too! My husband was able to assemble this in less than an hour (yes, I have a true handy man) and I am so glad we decided on this system. All the kids items are now organized neatly in bins and books are where they need to be. I think the added bonus is the desk space. The picture shown here does not do the desk space justice because there is enough space for three kids to do their homework and to even spread out all their things too! I cannot say enough about how happy I am with this purchase, I just hope everyone else has the same outcome :)

Office OrganizerThe office was getting to the point I was stepping over things all the time. My wife and I had installed a closet organizer a couple years ago from The Container Store and LOVED it. It really increased how much closet space we have. So when I saw the Office Organizer, I ordered it. What a difference! It didn't take very long to put it up but it did take a while to get it loaded the way I wanted. But what a difference and the office got bigger too.

Great purchaseThis desk is good quality and is very easy to assemble. Definitely invest in an electrical drill with the right size drill bits (check your directions) and a level. As long as you have these items, you should have NO difficulty in putting this together. Make sure you have a helper though!

Solution to ClutterSince I have space challenges in my home, I needed to be able to use the wall space to create storage for my home office. Elfa Home Office Shelving was exactly what I needed. The installer was professional and very clean. The shelves hold heavy items and are very sturdy. It was so helpful to be able to custom design a shelving unit that exactly fit my space and purpose. Very satisfiedWe purchased a mix of Ventilated and Solid shelving for our kitchen. The space has an some problems as there is a door and also freestanding refrigerator complicating the functionality. We designed the shelves to encase the refrigerator, wrap around that wall just 13" down from the ceiling and then unto an abutting wall which now has shelves for displaying jars or dried goods, cookbooks and a freestanding elph desk. It transforms the space- looking fantastic and becoming instantly functional (after years of being a dead space.) Hurrah!

Perfect!I really needed a space to make jewelry for my side business. I had a small space and was trying to figure out how to utilize it best. I saw the photo in the catalog and knew it was exactly what I wanted! I took my measurements to the store and they planned it out for me in a short time. I decided to go with all bamboo shelves, in I have a tropical theme in my home. Even though I have installed many Elfa closets before, I just moved into a new place with plaster walls, and since I've never worked with plaster walls before, I decided to have Efla Installation come out to do the job for me. I didn't want to mess up my newly painted accent wall (I painted it the same turquoise blue as in the catalog).
'Tracy' came out yesterday, right at the designated time and was finished in about 1 1/2 hours. He was really nice and very professional and even made some adjustments to the design for me. I spent yesterday putting all my supplies away and I just couldn't be happier! Now I can be more productive.

Can 84" standards get ordered instead of the 60"? 60" is too short on a 9 ft wall
Is there an option with the 84" standards? Modern houses have 9ft ceilings and the 60" would be way too short. Priced individually this would cost more than $1500.

I just called with that same question and I was told no. You would have to order each part separately (all I wanted to do was swap the 60" standards for 84" standards). Ordering each part individually defeats the purpose of the sale.
