Great for under hanging clothes in closetPerfect size for organizing below the closet hanging rod. Mesh drawers glide nicely. Put a melamine top on it for a small shelf. Using two side by side behind sliding doors.

Usual Elf QualityLike many Elf storage solutions, this is a very solid product. Assembly was a little bit difficult. You have to hammer the metal frame together. I am not sure if I will ever be able to disassemble this again.

Perfect solution for me!I'm organizing my sewing studio, and elevated a long bookshelf so I didn't have to sit on the floor to read (!) This left me with a space about 29" tall. Two of these units, with four narrow mesh drawers, fit perfectly between each of the supports. All the sewing notions that were cluttering up fabric storage shelves are now neatly arranged, visible (and labled!!!) I can use the top drawer for any taller items (I got the casters so I can roll out the cart if I need to access the back) and can now get the rest of the fabric boxes out of storage and unpack!

The only way to go!These Elfa drawer units are the best thing since sliced bread! The 2 drawer mesh unit is my second purchase for this purpose and I could not be happier....no more on my hands and knees (as if that was even possible) trying to get the item at the very back of the shelf. As soon as finances allow, I will be back for more drawer units. IF THEY DON'T HAVE IT, YOU DON'T NEED IT!

Great storage in bathroomNeeded something to store all the "stuff" under my bathroom sink. This narrow drawer unit did the trick. I have 1 deep drawer and 2 shorter drawers and it fits beautifully and allows me easy access to bath and beauty products. Makes it easy to store and use cosmetics- the drawers slide completely out, so you can use the products and slide everything back into the cabinet, and you are ready for the day! Great product!

Great For College DormWe purchased these Mesh 2-Drawer units for both of our college students. They fit great both in the dorm room and in the closet for extra added storage space for clothing or any other items such as food, toiletries, towels, etc. I definitely would recommend this item for any one needing extra drawer space. Easy to put together as well.

Bought 4 of these and love themI purchased casters and tops for all 4. I use the drawers for fabric storage and also store a number of items on the top. These fit nicely in the room which is over the garage and lacking wall space.

Great Buy!I bought two of these to help organize my horse trailer. It was the best day when I used elfa products to get all of my horse equipment organized and easy to find. Now I have twice as much space to store things and I actually know where everything is. Thanks Elfa!!!!!

Can anyone tell me what the distance is from the floor to the top of the LOWER drawer?
I am thinking if the distance is correct I may try to shorten this, put a top on it and store something on the top. Thanks for any anwers.

The distance is from the floor to the top of a 2-Runner Elfa Drawer when it's in an Elfa Drawer Frame is 8-7/8".

I need the unit to be 17.25" or less instead of 17.5" tall. Can I put it together without the feet?

Unfortunately, our 4-Runner Elfa Drawer Frames are 17-1/2" high without feet. The bottom ends of the frames are cast metal and cannot be altered without risking damage to the frames themselves.

The actual drawers are 7" high, but the unit as a whole is 17-1/2" high
