Classy utensil organizerI like how nice this organizer looks. It has a good number of compartments. My only issue is that we put our cooking knives on the largest area and the blade gets stuck underneath the wooden frame of that compartment.

Crafters storage solution solved!I make handcrafted greeting cards using wood mounted rubber stamps and have a large collection with no good way to store them. I had been storing them in a plastic container and had to search each time I needed one. So in my search for an easier way I bought several of the bamboo utensil trays in various sizes from The Container Store, painted them black and mounted them on the wall. They were perfect for my stamps! As my rubber stamp collection grew, I bought more trays. Now they are perfectly displayed. I can easily find the stamp I need and they are on the wall, out of the way and not taking shelf space.

Great Flatware TrayThis is the best flatware tray I have ever had in 42 years. It holds my service for 16 plus all the serving pieces and extra serving pieces. My husband arranged the pieces half going one direction and half going the other direction and we have no problem with them shifting like one customer complain about. I can't believe I waited so long to get something so good.

good for one item per tray onlythe item is so cheaply made that the joints pulled apart within the first week. i would recommend this only if you own one fork, one knife, and one spoon. anything more and you would have spent your money better on some twigs.

Perfect for Tableware!I purchased two of these for side-by-side use in a wide drawer. They organize all of my 16-serving silverware, plus the salad pieces, butter knives, cake server, etc. Really a perfect, useful, attractive way to put pieces away and easily retrieve them. DisappointedI always follow that old adage "measure twice, cut once", but this time I measured the width multiple times, and still the tray doesn't fit. It's too darn wide. Time to get out my sander so that I can 'MAKE' this thing fit! I am happy with the rest of my purchases, but NOT this item. At least I have mellowed out some from the way I was on Tuesday.

Better than I expected!This tray fits perfectly in the drawers of my 40s kitchen cabinets and looks like it was made for my kitchen!! I didn't expect it to be so heavy and substantial but aside from being just well made it means that the tray doesn't slide around in drawers like some cutlery trays have! Overall, thrilled with my purchase!!

INSTANT GRATIFICATIONMy kitchen cutlery drawer went from ho-hum-sloppy-mediocre -- to scintillating in less than a minute! After the nifty installation which took all of about 30 seconds (the fun part was deciding which spoons went in which slots) now every time I pull open the drawer, I go "ah --- that's a beautiful sight to behold!" The color blends in with my cabinetry, so it looks like the tray was made to be there! And, since the sides are so deep -- you have a wonderful feeling of *extra space.* I must say I got a lot of bang for my buck with this cutie cutlery tray! :-)

Nice looking and practicalI was looking to upgrade my plastic holder to something a little more sophisticated. I ordered two of these, and I was not disappointed. The Container Store did not do a great job of packing these for shipment, and the box was a little disjointed when it arrived. I was, however, able to push back in to place.

Great Utensil TrayI picked this out to replace a metal wire cutlery tray which always let my silverware slide into the other sections. (What's the point of that?) This one looks beautiful in the drawer and fit perfectly sideways, which actually gave me better access to all of the compartments! It goes well with a knife dock I also purchased from the container store. Even my husband noticed the replacement, and commented that he thought it looked much better.

Is the height really 2.5"? This is same height as other acacia and bamboo organizers, but this one is labeled as "deep" and does appear deeper than those.
