DOES THE JOB JUST RIGHT!I now have three of these compartment boxes. I use one for gold earrings, one for silver earrings and one for earrings that have color. You can turn the box upside down and sideways and nothing shifts out of its little compartment. Only had two pair of earrings that wouldn't fit. Very pleased!

Great OrganizerThis is a great little orginizer for small items. I'm using it to display small beads at a bead show. The clear acrylic is great! Also seems very strong. Would be great for lots of small items like jewelry or collectibles.

DANDY DISPENSER!Was looking for something to store and organize daily medications for my elderly friends who, at times, forget if they have taken a certain pill. The clear compartment box was the answer! Other pill dispensing boxes sometimes are too small for multiple med's as well as mixing pills in one compartment may be harmful any many people have trouble opening the lids. Now, each pill has a compartment as well as a picture on the square of what the medication looks like! DURABLE, AND DANDY!

Best for Art Studios, Craft RoomsThis product is excellent to store and view special craft supplies. I use mine for the various focal beads I collect for my beading work. It keeps them safe and easily viewed for selecting for a project. The shallow trays are great because you can use two of these trays in the space needed for one standard size segmented box. And a totally clear plastic is essential for anyone using these to store art/craft supplies. The translucent boxes obscure the objects' colors and force you to open the box to design with the contents. These clear boxes mean you don't have to open the trays to design. It is my favorite studio organizing supply from the COntainer Store!

Awesome for very shallow drawersI purchased these to place in our top dresser drawers, which are only about 1 1/4" deep. Conventional jewelry organizers are far too deep, and I needed something I could use to separate my earrings and smaller costume necklaces. Before happening across these, I was about to give up. These boxes suit the purpose nicely. I can store with either the top on or off, but as another reviewer mentioned, the top basically just rests in place and does not secure. However, as I only need it to keep the earrings dust-free, it is not a problem for me. I do wish there was another configuration with larger wells, for my bigger (rounder) earrings and bulkier necklaces, but for now I will just keep them in my (previously overflowing) hanging organizers.

great for earrings!This is great to see my entire earring collection at once! I will need to buy another but previously my earrings were bunched up in a jewelry armoire and I'd lost track of what I own. Now, they are all on display and I can see them clearly. The compartments are big enough for hoops or several pair of studs. It has made getting ready in the morning much easier. I only wish the top was more secure. When my cats are playing around on top of the dresser, I have to be extremely cautious because the top does not clamp shut, it is merely pressed on.

Organize the little thingsI am using this to store eyelets, brads and clips. Works great! I like that the sides go all the way up to the lid, keeping the contents in their compartment. FYI-- you can stack two of these boxes inside the Bisley 5 drawer cabinets and still have a little space left over!
I am looking for a container that I can put face paints in, it would need to be water tight so the colors dont run together

While our Clear Compartment Boxes do feature dividers that reach all the way up to the lids to prevent migration of the contents , the compartments are not water- or airtight.
