InnovativeI have a hard to reach corner in my closet and more boots than I care to admit. This is a good solution to fill the vertical space. I can see the boots quite well. It is a bit difficult to remove a pair when they are not on the bottom. Although this might be because I have them hanging in the awkward corner.

Impressive.I give this a very solid four stars. It was easy to assemble, got my boots off the floor (huge space saver!) and is helping the boots keep their shape. No more tall boots flopping over and getting nasty creases. The one thing I'm not crazy about is staring at the bottoms of the boots as they hang there. I also wish the prongs that support the boots were just a little bit shorter, because they sometimes scrape the back of the closet wall.

Terrible directionsThe instructions were awful. And they aren't very sturdy once put together. I would recommend clips over this. I bought three sadly and I do not think its worth the price but I will keep them since they are put together
My husband wears a size 11 or 12 in mens boots and has a variety of hunting boots verying from mid calf to ankle style boots. Can the boot butler accomodate these?

How high must the closet rod be?
I have some low closet rods. How high must it be for this to hang on it?
Asked by: xtyb
Our Boot Butler requires 64" on vertical hanging space when all five pairs of holders are suspended from a single point. For lower hanging closet rods, separate the Boot Butler into two- and three-pairs of holders.

Dimensions requirements?
What are the dimensions when fully loaded? How deep does the closet need to be?
Asked by: silodog2
When assembled and fully loaded with boots, the dimensions range 7″ to 9″ W x 60″ to 64″ H x 19″ to 21″ D. Please note dimensions may vary due to boot type, style, and size stored. We recommend storing in a closet 20" or more in depth.

Our Hanging Boot Butler is designed to accommodate boots up to and including knee height and really works best for boots in that range.

Hanging
Does this have to hang from a closet rod exclusively? Could you hang it on anything else? I am thinking of a industrial type large eye hook suspended from the ceiling. I can't spare the closet rod space, but have empty closet wall space I can use. Thanks in advance.

So, I will actually answer my own question, lol. I went ahead and did this and it worked perfectly! What a genius invention.

Can these accommodate booties with a 3 inch heel?
I'm wondering if the part that goes inside the boot is curved enough (as opposed to being a 90 degree angle) to fit in a pair of booties with a 3" heel. Thanks.
Asked by: brook1998
Yes, you should be able to store booties with a 3" heel without a problem.

Can the boots be removed without unhooking the hanger?
Once hung, if I want a pair in the middle can I slide them off safely without the whole set crashing down?
Asked by: EbethVA
Yes- the boots hook onto a hanging piece that is connected from top to bottom. You can watch how the Hanging Boot Butler works on the video near the product picture, it shows how it is assembled and how you can take boots off of the hanger
