Awesome but super strong smellI just purchased a new home so I wanted my closet to look nice. These fit the bill, they’re beautiful, sturdy and overall great except for a very strong chemical smell. May have to return if the smell doesn’t go away.

VERY LONG!While I love the idea of these shoe boxes and they are very nice looking, they are super long! They don't fit on the shelves in my closet- they hang over. I have extremely small feet (5 1/2), but I can almost fit 2 pair of shoes in each box- end to end. I wish they would make these in sizes.
If it wasn't for the size- they would get 5 stars. If you are a man with big feet, these would be great.

So Great!I ordered the linen-colored shoe boxes and they're amazing. They're sturdy, beautiful, and so much more compact than I envisioned, yet I was able to fit my heels, platform espadrilles, and running shoes in these. I wear a women's size 9 medium, and these would easily fit probably up to a women's size 12. I have to say, though, that I don't have any heels or wedges above 3.5" high. I don't think that 4" heels would fit comfortably in these, but you may want to measure. I will have these forever. I initially ordered 9 but just ordered 6 more because they're not bulky like the boxes shoes originally come in, and that's how I've had my shoes arranged (to the point where I forgot what I even owned). If you're on the fence about these I would say to buy them!

A special gift for himRecently, my husband and I purchased our first home, and after closing his birthday was a week later. I wanted to purchase him a thoughtful gift for his man cave, and I ran across these cute boxes. His shoes have always been a continuous problem because he has so many. I took his size 13 shoe with me to my local container store but his shoe didn’t fit in some of the drop down containers until I found this one! I purchased the boxes put his shoes inside and walked him to his new closet on his birthday. He absolutely loved them! I have to buy more, because I wasn’t able to purchase the correct amount he needed, but I have plans to do so in the near future so his closet will be complete!

Best shoe box everI recently designed & installed my own upgraded closet system in Aug 2017 & wanted some finishing touches for my dress shoes This "Drop-Front Shirt Box" was perfect for my size 13" men's shoes. I was disappointed I couldn't fit my shoes in the "Drop-Front Shoe Box" and had to get the higher priced "Shirt Box," but I liked it enough to pay the higher price for my limited pairs of dress shoes. It looks modular, yet classy & more important to me; it keeps dust off my shoes! I hate shining my shoes!!

Shoe storage boxI Actually use these to store my babies essentials in her closet. I like that they are of good quality, they are lightweight so you can place them on the shelf.. but they’re also very durable and are easily stackable. Easily wiped off, so they stay neat, I think they will last Very long time. Overall a great product and very stylish.

Best purchase ever!!!My master bedroom closet needed organizing bad. I thought I wanted to keep my shoes in their original boxes but it didn’t look or feel as organized as I wanted so I went on a search. Love the look but disappointed in the qualityI love the overall look and functionality of these boxes. They are classic and give my closet a really clean look while protecting my favorite shoes. I had the boxes for about a year and a half when I noticed some of the glue on the front flap of boxes turning a darker tan that was obvious and some of the corners starting to peel. I'm a huge Container Store fan and love their items, so I was pretty surprised to see this happen.

Love my shoe boxes!I love my shoe boxes! I can't wait to buy more! At first, I kept all my shoes in the original shoe boxes to help keep dust away, and their shape. These shoe boxes are so much more nicer to look at, and are easily accessible! I love the front magnetic closure, and the little peep window to look inside! I will definitely be purchasing more when I move into my new house with my walk-in closet! I also bought the larger shirt boxes to store my UGG boots!

Keep shoes organized and dust-freeI purchased several of these shoe boxes and am using them to store my out-of-season shoes. These go in a different closet than the shoes that I'm currently using. I love how the pretty cloth covered boxes keep my closet looking neat, and how the clear front of the box makes it easy to see what shoes are in the box, without having to open it. I may even buy some of these boxes for my current shoes, since I like them so much.

Best purchase ever!I love these boxes! I had used the plastic ones from the craft store in the past and over time some of my shoes got ruined. These are made of linen and will allow shoe to "breathe". Also makes closet look so organized! Def recommend these.

every shoe deserves a homeI have about thirty of these boxes and a size 11 foot. These boxes are not made for stilettos there are other products to accommodate heels which I also found at the container store. The boxes display my flats and sandals beautifully and give my closet an overall organized look.

A little tight for high heelsI like how these shoe boxes look and stack in my closet...but beware that you cannot stand high heels inside them. You have to sort of wedge them in sideways which can make it difficult to see what's inside.

Beautiful boxes but too smallI ordered 15 of these boxes on sale because I was so excited to organize my closet. I was very very very disappointed to find that most of my shoes barely fit in the boxes. While they are deep enough front to back, they are not high enough to accommodate my size 9 1/2 high heels, tie oxfords, and athletic shoes. I tried every combination of position and I can only make them fit if I shove them in which will damage the boxes over time. Part of the problem is the overhanging lip for the magnetic closure. However even if that were fixed, I still think they are not high enough for people with larger feet. I strongly suggest if you are considering these, that you buy just one to see if it works for you.

So Glad I Made This Purchase!!!I first saw these linen drop-front shoe & sweater boxes on Container Store.com & like the front-drop, but with out seeing them was unsure of making a purchase. While on vacation I visited the store & fell in love with them. The boxes are sturdy, the plastic window is a nice thickness, & fabric application is done well. They are worth the price, but as I wanted several, the cost was more than my budget would allow. Then I received a email, the boxes were on sale, $5-$10 off each. These awesome storage boxes now have made my closet beautiful & practical!!! No more need to dig out item from a box on bottom of others, just drop the front, remove & later put back. My closet now stays neat! As my shoe heels range from 1"-3", I have no issue with size of box, the ones that have a 3" heel on just lay on their sides. I love these!

Best Closet OrganizationI was surprised at the high quality edge stitching and the strength of the boxes. No flim-flam here! Love the ease of opening and closing the drop-front doors due to the hidden magnets. Also the clear window is thick plastic not thin cellophane. All the different sized boxes look great stacked together. I am so glad everything in my closet will now be protected from dust. Best value is when they are on sale so stock up!

Nice but smallThese are very nice and functional. One big concern is the fact that they just aren't tall enough. I cannot fit any of my high heels in these and I have read that a shirt box works better but the cost is significantly more. Hoping there is a sale on these so I can actually organize all of my shoes.

Shoe hoarderI originally had the shoe boxes that were clear that opened on top and while they worked, these boxes work much easier (front open) and so much nicer looking. I am slowly getting the plastic boxes replaced in my closet. I have a lot of shoes!!
If this size box doesn't fit the shoe (which is rare, but there are a few) I order up to the shirt box. Works like a charm.

Declutter Your Shoe ShelvesI love these because they create more shelf space by stacking while displaying the shoe. Call me a shoe hoarder, but I have way too many shoes. Thus, these are wonderful. You can stack more and see them making choosing which shoe much easier.

May the drop front be completely detached from the rest of the item, without causing damage to the other components, in order for the front to be fully open at all times without door creating an obstacle?

One pair per single box. BUT three pairs of flats fit in the sweater box using the double decker shoe lifts.

No mens shoes do NOT fit the opening is too small. My hubby only has 10.5 size feet and no laced dress shoes fit little slip on slippers would fit but these are way too small for 90% of his shoes.

Do the drop doors break on these like they do on the plastic version?
I see the drop front door on this version is plastic. Does it attach the same as on the plastic stackable version? I have problems with the doors breaking off the plastic version.
