My door is 2 inches in depth and the hook does not fit as it is 1 and 3/8 inches. I was told it would fit but it does not. Is there a hook to accommodate a door 2 inches in depth?

The largest depth hooks we carry are 1-3/4". We recommend wall-mounting.

We checked a child's size 7 which measures 6' long, and it fit on the Elfa shoe rack just fine.

How can I reduce the noise from the racks?
I recently installed this on my coat closet door, but the baskets and especially the shoe racks make a lot of noise when I open and close the door. They reverberate like a tuning fork. I have a baby and do not want him waking up every time we open the coat closet door, so I need to figure out a solution. What are people supposed to do to make these quieter? Did we mess up the installation or something?
