Flexible Linen Purse BinThis purse bin is very flexible, it is wide enough in the back to hold large purses (such as a LV) and as you move towards the front, you can then store smaller purses. I was able to put my purses in their cloth storage bags to protect them and then graduate them towards the front. I stuffed some of the bags with tissue so they would stand up and be readily identifiable. I cannot recommend these bins highly enough if you want to protect and store your expensive purses.

Strong Chemical SmellLike many reviewers below me, I opened the plastic wrapping to an overwhelming chemical strong coming off this box. Overall could be useful but have not used due to the smell. I tried to air it out with all the windows open but it’s been a week and the smell is still there. It smells like a nail salon.

Useful product...unbearable smellMy husband and I just purchased a new home. Rather than pay for a custom closet, I decided to look at other storage options mainly for my shoes and purses and I found these bins. They are so right in many ways, but all the positives are outweighed by the horrible chemical smell they emit. After airing them out for two weeks, I found that the smell has only moderatley diminished. These are by far the best and most attractive storage option for my handbags and while I would love to keep them, i think they'll be going back.

Smell is bad...I purchased these last week. I love them for my purse storage and they fit most of my bags (some totes were too wide). However, their smell has taken over my closet. It hasn’t gone away in about a week so I’m unsure if I should keep them.

Great but terrible smell....I love everything at container store. I am always satisfied with products I bought. This one, size and color are nice and I can put all my bags nicely but oh my god, some strong smell when I opened the bagl!! What is it? I don't know. I was just surprised. After few days, the smell has gone but I wish they can improve that part....

Horrid smell-unusable.I have used these in the past because they are the best storage ever. But last month I bought 6 and the smell is just awful. I let them “air” out in my living room for a week; set them in the sun; then decided to try them. Put them in the closet and when I open my doors I’m hit with the chemical smell. It had not disappeared in over a month. These are great but the smell is so bad you can’t use them. The old ones never stunk like this so I’m not sure what had happened. Find another storage alternative. I’m going to go to the store and see if they have other “non stinky” ones because the product itself is great.

Awesome product!I love this so much! It is nice to collapse when not in use and it is a great size for a large shelf. The only downside is the price, but if you use it enough, its worth it!

These bins smell terribleThese bins smell like they were manufactured in a tire facility. It must be the stong smell of the glue to hold the bins together. We "aired" the bins out in the garage for 3 days in hopes that the smell would go away. It did not. We attempted to keep them in our closet and have to return them because they make the whole bedroom smell. It is a strong chemical smell.

Terrific!I love these grey purse storage bins! Three of them fit perfectly on the top shelf of my coat closet.
Two of them hold several purses, and I use the third one for summer hats! So they are not only attractive but can be used for many different purposes.
What's more, they fold flat for storage if needed.

Perfect size, horrible smell5 stars for style, size, and utility; reduction in stars for stinky smell. I bought a couple of these to store handbags that I use on a regular basis. The color is a very nice grey. The bins are pretty sturdy, and the size is perfect! Large enough to fit large totes for work and medium everyday bags. The thing that ruins this item for me is the smell. The smell reminds me of a mix of chemicals and new tire rubber smell. I pulled all of my bags out of the bins and let them air out, but 3 days later, the smell is still very strong on the bins. If the smell doesn't go away, I can't use these in my closet and I'll probably use these in my garage!

The Purse-fect Fit!!!!I love this item so much that I went back and purchased 2 more. They fit perfectly above my armoire. I put all of my purses in these beautiful containers and I even had room for my weekend bag that is quite flexible. All of my purse are in their bags to avoid dust. So, if you put your purse up there without a bag, then it might get dusty. Nonetheless, they are beautiful and keeps all of my purses in one place. Love it!

Bigger than it looksI was nicely surprised at how large this was. It is spacious and fit my gym bag and other small bags in it. I like it because on the top closet shelf it hides the contents and gives a clean appearance.
Because it is so deep, I wouldn't recommend it for narrow shelves. It hangs over my shelf edge a little because my top shelf is not that deep.

Great for clutches and small totesI put this storage bin on the top of a wire shelf in the closet since I don't have a wood shelf. It holds many tote bags, clutches.
The only thing is that since my shelf is high, I don't always see what's inside and that means I have to lower the entire bin. Would work nicer eye level or on top of low shelf.

Great solutionThis organizer is perfect for the issue of my purses on the top shelf of the closet. Before I got these they were flung on the top in their dust covers. Now they are all neatly arranged. They are roomy and very versatile. I got my husband a couple so he can pack away his sweaters when it warms up and he even uses it for his baseball caps. Great for big bagsI recently bought two of these for my closet and I love the linen look. Ultra classy. I found my larger purses held up in it beautifully but I am still in search of a solution for my smaller purses since some are even to small to be seen from the lowered side of the bin, especially when on a shelf.

Great butI needed something to hold my larger handbags and this does it. However, because the lower portion of the container (in fact the entire container) is opaque, it's a bit difficult to see exactly what I have especially now that they are perched on a shelf. I also wish there was a smaller one for my clutches.
There product dimensions say 12", but I believe that's just the back side.

No because one would slip off of the other. You could put the items placed in the bin in plastic covers or bags. Mine bin is in a closed closet and dust has not been an issue.
