Hello, I just purchased 5 and 3 of them broke when I opened the clamp for the first time. I thought this was fixed but maybe not... Please consider redesigning by replacing brittle plastic with more flexible one. Otherwise, these are beautiful hangers.

How easily do these swivel?
in other words, do these twist when you hold the wood in one hand and physically turn the hook using the opposite hand? Or do these swivel quite readily if you are simply hanging them up, reaching to hang onto a closet rod from an odd angle? THX

The hooks can be turned, but not so easily as to cause a problem; you have to hold the hanger and the hook in separate hands to turn them.

I think Lotus refers to the color of these? I wonder why the other types (White, Walnut, etc.) have good reviews but this one does not. Are they made the same? (Sure looks like it.)
