They were very easy to insert the hook and put up, but they don't smell strongly like cedar so I'm not really sure how any pests are going to smell them, either, but it's still worth a shot. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy hook I purchased these recently and the hook makes it easy to place cedar blocks every few inches in my closet. I bought the cedar blocks that supposedly smell like lavander, but honestly all I smell is cedar. Hopefully they will do a good job of repelling pesky moths!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cedar Hanger is not very fragrant. I am not sure that I will get the pest repellant, anti-mildew and anti-odor benefits of the cedar hanger because the cedar block is not aromatic at all. The fragrance is very faint.
